Shenvalee Golf Resort - Olde/Creek

I love this course. It’s beautiful and well maintained.

The yardages from the gold tees are well suited to my distance abilities. I was playing solo & got paired with two brothers, Wayne & Jerry. They were super nice guys & I had a wonderful time. The only downside was the little gnats were relentless.

Huge greens, all relatively flat. Tee boxes were so-so. Pace of play was great, I played the Miller course then the Creek Course. There were 3 or 4 driveable par 4's from the white tees. Layout was fun to attack. Would definitely play again.

Starter sends my 9 yr old and I off behind at least 4 foursomes instead of a nine w/ light play. Nice course w/ great wildlife, had plenty of time to take it all in. Paid for 18, bailed after 9, ate lunch down the street @ Jalisco instead of spending more $ @ the clubhouse grill.

Oh yeah you can definitely tell Shenvalee take care of their course. Greens could be better taken care of by players of the day…(fix your divots please). Greens roll well though, fairways are in great shape. Go play, you can’t beat the price for sure!!

Recommended by a local friend and very glad we went. Took my son, son-in-laws and grandson. I would go back in a flash.

Let me start by saying the Miller Grille by itself is worth the trip alone. Went and had lunch before our round and the food was delicious. The course is also in great shape apart from the bunkers. Fairways, fringe, and greens are in pretty food shape. Rough could use a trim abs lots of ball marks in greens. Other than that course is a fair test of skill.

The issues I had were with the behavior and speed of play of surrounding groups. Group ahead of us blasting music, clearly over intoxicated, and yelling suck it, b****, and other obscenities. Not the things you want to be heading while playing with a female. At times waited 10 minutes between shots for them to treat every shot like Sunday at The Masters. After all the waiting, got to the 9th green only to have them pulled over beside the green with another foursome continuing to blast the music while we finished our round. Pace of play and behavior could’ve been easily fixed with a Ranger but there was none to be found. Probably will not make the trip back.

This course is always one of the best conditioned courses in the area. Love it!!

As always, I enjoyed Shenvalee golf! Course is in great shape and pace was great! I would and do recommend this course to people wanting to enjoy a good course!

I have written numerous reviews about the Shenvalee . The 3 - 9 hole courses are always in great shape . The Lodge rooms I refuse to stay in . 5 years ago I got to share my room with a few very nasty bugs . The Miller Grille has some excellent food and a fantastic staff working there . Unless they terminated the entire hospitality staff and replaced everyone of them , I will not recommend you stay in their rooms . Especially with a Quality Inn so close to the resort .
