About
The 18-hole championship course at Don Shula's Golf Club is one of those courses that just seems to get better as you play your way around.
The first few holes are fairly open and not overly difficult. However, things start to get more difficult as you continue. By the time you make it to the 11th green, you'll know that you're in for a real dogfight. The fairways on the back get tight and there's water on just about every hole. All in all, it's a very enjoyable course from start to finish.
There are tennis courts, multiplex, fitness center etc. There’s something for everyone. The hotel's onsite amenities include upscale dining at the Original Shula's Steak House and casual dinning at the Bull Pen, which serves breakfast lunch and light dinner until 7pm.

Better each time back
Ive played this coarse several times in the last yr and each time i feel the it has improved. A few times in the past i said to myself that it was disappointing because the greens were patchy, slow and bumpy. But this last time they were in amazing shape. The greens rolled smooth, quick and true. The rest of the coarse was i great condition as well. I will absolutely be back.

Great layout
I’ve being playing this course for a few years now and they have done a great job of keeping it in great condition. Considering that this course doesn’t drain very well, today there were a few wet spots on the back and 90% rule was in effect. The bag drop attendants were very friendly and attentive. Greens were rolling at a good pace and were in great condition. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good test of their game.

Great Course
The first nine holes are easier the final nine. I have been playing golf for 8 months, so I love to play in challenging courses. There is a lot of water,!!

Rained out
Back 9 was closed. This happens a LOT at this course.

Wet Round
I have played this course many times, and has always been in great shape, no matter the conditions. The staff was friendly as always.
It had been raining heavily for a while, but when i got there it was only light rain. The front was fine, but the back was cart path only.
I had a great afternoon round in spite of the conditions. I would recommend this course to anybody at any level.

Course conditions
Have played this course numerous times and the golf now rate is good. However this time we got there and discovered the greens had been aerated 2 days earlier with no notice on golf now and the same rate. Also, the back nine was closed because of rain, staff offered no additional compensation.

Course conditions may change at any time due to weather, We offer rain checks to customers who book directly with us. We also offer discounted rates when our Back 9 closes due to rain. Greens need a little attention
The course is in relatively good shape except for the greens. They need some attention, the grass is on the dry side and there are a lot of ball divots on the greens, although this is more of a responsibility of the players but the club must do something to fix these ball marks. It is a shame that many golf players don't follow the golf etiquette and do not fix the ball marks on the greens, this is something that I see in a lot of courses throughout the Broward County golf courses. Not only I fix my ball divots but I also fix the divots of other players. I get furious whenever I see ball marks around where my ball is, and worst of all on the path or line to the hole.

Thank you for your sharing your comments from your most recent round of golf with us. Our superintendent has been battling a series of fungus attacks on the greens this summer. He has had to increase fertilizer treatments and applications of top dressing sand. The goal is to improve the health of the greens along with firming up the greens.
