River Oaks Golf Club

About
River Oaks Golf Club stretches across more than 800 scenic acres along the Intracoastal Waterway. The Course begins with the shortest of the three nines and finishes with the longest. The final hole on the front nine presents one of the most interesting risk-reward opportunities on the golf course. You can aim for the right bunker for an open shot at the green or try a long drive down the left side for a short approach. River Oaks Golf Clubs' Otter nine has several challenges in store including mounding, strategically placed bunkers, and tricky water hazards.

Nice layout
Lots of fun. Got to play 15 holes before rain. Had a great time.
Enjoyed the round
Course in OK condition, except for the bunkers (a lot were unplayable ) and a few greens. Nice layout and friendly staff. Would play again.
Enjoyable Round of golf
Great golf course, making it a staple course whenever we are in Myrtle Beach.
The course was wonderful
First time playing there, we were on vacation!!!!! Course was just great, slight rain during our play, but did not stop us from finishing!!!!!
Great course for the money
Course was in great shape. Enjoyed the little challenges the course offers. Still able to recover & score even if you hit a bad shot. Going to be a staple course for us when we are in Myrtle Beach.
Lousy greens
Layout is decent but the greens are terrible. Huge dead spots on all of them. Sand traps are also in terrible shape and many are unplayable.
Dying greens
This looks like it used to be a good course but they are not maintaining it and the greens are very poor. Many have large dead spots you need to move the ball off of to a better place. The sand traps are also in terrible shape and many are unplayable.
