Man O' War Golf Course

There wasn’t a single green on the course that didn’t have either a fungus outbreak or was completely covered with sand. And the starter at the bag drop was horrible. $120 is way too much for those greens and be aware that the starter sets the vibe for the whole day.

The greens were absolutely horrendous some were covered in sand. I’ll never spend another hundred bucks to go to a course that’s not even a good as most municipal courses

LAY OUT GREAT FAIRWAYS GREAT SAND GOOD BUT THE GREENS HAD MORE DIRT THAN GRASS. I WOULD NOT PLAY THERE AGAIN IF THEY PAID ME

The pro shop inside the only thing i can gripe about was the greens. I dont know whats wrong with them but more of them are messed up and look like your putting through Afghanistan. Other than that loved the layout, staff, and experience but would be 5 starts with good greens, wouldnt recommend at the moment but will definitely return when greens are healthy

I looked up the site and found this golf course as in top 10 in Myrtle Beach, SC.

I didn’t hesitate to book this course and paid $92. It wasn’t hot deal.

It seemed good at first seeing but I regretted after 1st hole.

Fairway was punched every field and the greens were airification lately. There were some spots no grass at all but dry soil lots of area.

I couldn’t believe I paid near $100 for this golf course.

I should be looking more seriously to find golf course.

SC is home of the golf nation I heard. In that reason I plan to stop by SC on my trip.

It made deep sigh to choose this golf course. I should take others even though I pay near $200.

I got to wait every single hole to keep playing golf. There’s no rangers to keep playing smoothly.

I quit playing game after 11th hole because it was too slow and hot climate, 99 degrees.

I strongly not recommend this golf course unless you have enough money throw out somewhere.

I got to search more on the golf course instead just believing app. It was so disappointed even if SC is golfers’ heaven state. Do more searching right place before you are booking.

The greens were diseased and basically unplayable. Several balls plugged but on every putt we had to choose the most problem free route to the pin due to the horrible putting conditions. Hopefully they figure it out because it ruined the round.

First off they charged us $30 for a rider. A round cost $91 and the greens were in terrible condition. The sprinklers were turned on while we were playing 3 different holes. I will never play this course again.

$90+ to play was way to much for punched greens that are in bad shape and rough that you cant find a ball in also were not worth what we paid to play.No one told us about any of that either.Ive played it before and it was great but this time I was so disapointed.Also they allowed a fivesome to play in front of of us.Maybe next vacation itll be in better shape but wont play there again this trip.

Staff was great, about all I can say good about this course. Every green was a mess, burnt out, patchy and very slow. Pace of play was excruciating 😣

Man O’ War Golf Course was a hole-in-one experience! 🏌️‍♂️ The course was fantastic, the staff were great, and thankfully my scorecard had plenty of room for excuses. Great course, great people, and a great day on the links. Definitely worth a return trip!

The guy that loads the bags lost my Ghost golf strap sleeve. He all but pushed me out the way to grab my bag. When the round was over I realized my strap cover was gone. I told them and they said if nobody turns it in I’m just out of luck. I think that’s very unprofessional and I won’t go back!

This course is in excellent condition for the amount of rain we have received. The greens are bent grass and flat out amazing! My group enjoyed the day from the first tee to the last putt. Wish I got to play this track more often as the course requires every shot in the bag!

A little rain early but not enough to stop us from an enjoyable round. Course was in great shape though a couple of holes looked like they almost lost them. The other greens were good to excellent especially for bent grass in what I hear has been drought conditions.

Course was in really good shape. Pace of play was a touch slow on a Friday, but you are in a vacation area. My only complaint would be that the greens were a tad slow. Other than that. I had a very enjoyable round and Wood play the course again.
