Man O' War Golf Course

This is a very fun course with cool holes and some tough shots. Had a great time! Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This flat course had a lot of water that made the course scenic but for good players, the water is really not in play. All parts of the course were in great shape. Fairways were like plush carpeting and the greens were impeccable. The hot deal made the course more affordable. Everyone on the staff was courteous and friendly.

I cannot say enough about Ma O War and the beautiful condition the course was (is), and I cannot say enough about the incredible staff and how nice they are. If you want to play a really nice course that can be challenging at times, Man O War will fit the bill. I have played there before, and I will definitely play there again!

Man O War was a great place to play and although there were a lot of people on the course the staff was great at keeping everyone moving without being rude. It was a fantastic deal through GN that included lunch and drinks.

The course its self is amazing. Greens were on point. I have been to course where the club house and bathrooms on the course was way better than these facilities. Upgrade and this place will be top notch. Loved the actual course.

Course was in good shape. You are rewarded for good shots, punished by landing in water in you loose control of your ball.

I caleed one day in advance to ask the pro if we could bring our dog on the course, wich they told yes right away. I cannot remember being welcome at a golf course like we were at Man O War. The staff over there is incredible and even though the course was packed, we played in 4 hours and a half. We bought two hat and they even gave us 20% discount on it... I called 4 golf course before calling Man O War and they said no right away for the dog... Was the golf experience we had during our 7 weeks golf trip in Florida.... We went to Man O War on our way back to Canada because i wanted my wife to see what could look like a golf course in Myrtle Beach and she was flabergasted by everything. I think all the golf course in US and Canada should make the most they can, to offer the client-experience we had at that golf course. I recommand 100% Man O War.

Great course, only down fall was only really had beer. Needs more mixed drinks for those of us that don’t drink y.

Friend and I booked a tee time at this course as a part of our three day golf trip to Myrtle Beach. He traveled from Arizona and I traveled from Texas. On the last day Mother Nature did a 180 on us. Showed up to play in shorts and a golf shirt and the temps had dropped into the low 40’s with wind gust up to 30ph. Shortly after teeing off on the first hole it started to rain. Called the pro shop from the first fairway to explain our dilemma and ask for a refund. We were told that a “raincheck” (no pun intended) was the best he could do. Bummed and disappointed to say the least for the lack of empathy or concern for our situation.

Not at all how we envisioned ending our golf trip to Myrtle Beach.

$272 down the drain.

Lesson learned!!!

First of all i want to say something. I’v been playing for 40 years and i sincerly think that every golf course should copy what this organisation did for us and seems to do for all there clients. Its simple but essential ; MAKING YOUR CUSTOMERS FEEL IMPORTANT.

I called the day before, and i had the privilege to speak to the pro, Steve Frismoth (i hope i get his name right). I told Mr Fismoth that we would pass the next day going back to Canada from Florida and would love to play the course but we had to bring our dog with us… Yes you read that, and he said yes so fast i coudnt believe it. He just decided to welcome us and believe me when i told him our dog was educated wich it is… I bought 2 hats, and he gave us a 10% discount on each, and we had a lunch included with our tee off. He even came to see us on the golf course to see the dog and bring another had cause my eif had a change of mind…

Making your customers feel important… By far the best golf experience a had in my 40 years golfing.

He is just a GREAT HUMAN BEING.
