About
River Oaks Golf Club stretches across more than 800 scenic acres along the Intracoastal Waterway. The Course begins with the shortest of the three nines and finishes with the longest. The final hole on the front nine presents one of the most interesting risk-reward opportunities on the golf course. You can aim for the right bunker for an open shot at the green or try a long drive down the left side for a short approach. River Oaks Golf Clubs' Otter nine has several challenges in store including mounding, strategically placed bunkers, and tricky water hazards.

Need rain
Greens were in excellent condition, fairways thin with tight lies.
Great Value
This course is a great value. Greens roll well. Fairways could be a bit greener. But this is an enjoyable layout. Good golf for a good price. Pace can be a bit slow at times. I enjoy playing here.

Good pace, nice greens. Myrtle Beach has been dry and this course is well watered.
Fun round
Nice layout. Pretty good condition. Greens rolled true but were a little slow. Very friendly staff. I would definitely play again.
Overall - Value not there.
Course was not maintained, broken tees on the boxes everywhere, traps not maintained. Not a good value for the price, can play better maintained courses for half the price.
Played Fox - Otter Course
Nice course, except sand traps need some attention. We were paired with two gentlemen and we had a good time with them. Two years ago we played the Bear - Fox Course, so it was good to play the Otter Course today
Slow greens but in great shape.
Enjoyed the course. We were a two some joined by two inexperienced players. Long round with no idea of course etiquette.
Course was in good shape fun layout greens were smooth and in good shape although a bit slow every thing was firm not much stick at all bounce and roll should add 20 to 30 to your drive good value for the money would play again
