About
River Oaks Golf Club stretches across more than 800 scenic acres along the Intracoastal Waterway. The Course begins with the shortest of the three nines and finishes with the longest. The final hole on the front nine presents one of the most interesting risk-reward opportunities on the golf course. You can aim for the right bunker for an open shot at the green or try a long drive down the left side for a short approach. River Oaks Golf Clubs' Otter nine has several challenges in store including mounding, strategically placed bunkers, and tricky water hazards.

River Oaks Golf Course - Myrtle Beach
I played this course for the first time. I used a Hot Deal and I got a real deal using the Thanksgiving 20% discount! A challenging course for me, as a beginner, but the fairways were wide and inviting. I lost balls in the woods and in the water! But it was worth it to me, for the challenge and experience.
Great Round
I am in from Michigan this week playing golf. This was my first time playing this course. Course conditions were a little bit wet on several of the holes. I was not paired with anybody and enjoyed playing at my own pace and getting to know the course. Staff was very friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed my round.
Ruff Greens
Good course, we got a hot deal @ $40.00 each with cart included. Everything was good, except some of the greens had been damaged by weather and animals. The greens were still playable, I moved my ball to a playable spot and continued on. most of the greens are fine, I'll play there again next week
Great staff
Course was in decent shape but greens were horrible
Obvious that they have sold this property..
The staff was wonderful but sadly, the course conditions, especially the greens are in very sad shape. We have played River Oaks many times during our annual visits to Myrtle Beach and have watched it slowly deteriorate.
