I have played this course before and thought I would give it another chance. same result I had to wait 20 minutes past my tee time to tee off and pace of play was slow. Won't come back.
Great layout, great staff, challenging holes
I can see why people like this course. Would be awesome were they not closing in a day to remove tall trees. Fairways were brown and dormant, rough was green, greens were crispy and so fast. Cant wait to play it when its fixed up.
Going under renovations,but nice course
We understand it is going to be closing for renovations until September,but we could imagine how pretty it was and is going to be. Fast pace play,never got slowed down which is great,we golf a lot when we travel and at home(Ohio) and that pace of play was just right!
No warning
There was no warning about killing the fairways and greens for the reconstruction of the course coming up.
The starter informed me about this so I made the mistake for playing anyway. It was terrible! Do not pay to play there! Thay did not offer a discount price for the conditions!
Greens are a graveyard
Apparently all the greens were sprayed to kill everything and the course was shutting down the next day start repairing the greens. Fairways were also dry and half dead. Big disappointment for my first trip to Myrtle Beach
Great Value and fun course
The staff was super helpful and that is such an important part especially since I had never played the course. The fairways were a little pockmarked but it was May and they are getting ready to renovate so not an issue.
Course will be renovated this summer. Nice layout.
Closing Soon...Enough Said
Poor condition both fairways and greens. Pay the extra money to play a well kept course. Completely understand as they are closing soon for renovations that drastically needed.
Issues with course
Greens were in horrible shape with disease spots on every green. Sand traps compacted not racked. Pace of play was okay, waited every hole. Course to my understanding will be closed near end of month for complete renovation. With all this in mind course should have offered a discount on thie green fees.
