Nice Course
Always a nice reliable course to play. Has different challenges, but still enjoyable. It's a bit out of the way, but worth the drive. Course is always in decent shape everytime I've played it.
good value with golf now
Good playing conditions while other courses are very wet
A playable and challengable course.
It was more nice than expectation and considerable course play again.
Diamondback GC
Decent layout, most holes slight doglegs, nice group of par 5's. I assume it will be cart path only for awhile. Conditions OK, fairways over seeded and very green presenting a good visual definition of the fairways and rough. Only issue was the course is so wet any ball with some height would plug. Lost two balls today one in the middle of the fairway and other just right of a green. Greens OK not fast but you did need to watch your speed on the down hillers. Good score of 77 with two doubles so a decent score is out there even with the wet conditions. Did get a face full of mud on a fat sand wedge. That was fun.
Good course
Course was in pretty good condition considering all the rain. The fairways were dryer than other courses we played, although it was still cart path only. Except for the first couple of holes we didn't see anyone ahead or behind! We used golfnow to book and got a decent rate. The course is not overly long but is tight in spots.
great course great price
Really liked course. Sort of afraid to recommend too high will get crowded. One of my favorite courses here I Myrtle. Play it . You will not regret it. It is fun.
Always the 1st course we play
Course was in great condition, especially after having over a foot of rain 4 days earlier. Always a great time playing there.
Very Nice Course
The course is a bit out of the way. I played it on the way home from the beach. It had been raining for several days so it was cart path only but the course was in good shape given the conditions. Very nice layout and not very many people on the course due to the impending weather. Very friendly staff and I would highly recommend. Got a great deal on Golf Now.
Can't beat the price for a course like this
Greeter was extremely friendly and the course was in good shape. Lost some golf balls in the high and thick first cut. Couldn't take time to look because of an uncourteous pair pushing behind us. The only thing I didn't like was playing the blind holes for the first time with no yardage book. Will play it again.
Great Value
Course was in very good condition. Back greens are sandy but putt well and are fast. Rough was a little long -very easy to lose a ball in it even around the greens. Very enjoyable round even though the heat and humidity very high. Great value for such a nice course.
Fun course with lots of nature.
Really fun round. Saw deer on course, not many houses,. Challenging enough but not so difficult, lots of chances for pars. Greens ok, but only reason did not rate conditions as excellent.
Great value for money
We payed $ 13 cart included booked on golf now.com can't beat the price!,
The carts seem new, the greens where in great shape.. Stay in the fairways cause you can easily loose your ball in the first cut!
Best bang for your buck
Very laid back greens and fairway great .will be playing there soon
Nice Course to Play
The course was in very good condition and the greens were excellent. Interesting course with a fair amount of obstacles. Bring bug spray.
Great hidden Gem.
Considering the outside temperature, diamondback was a great value. Thanks for the great memories.
GREAT TIME !
WAS LOOKING FOR A COURSE TO PLAY WHILE ON VACATION THAT WOULD NOT TAKE ALL DAY TO PLAY. MY SON IN LAW AND I WAS ABLE TO TEE IT UP A LITTLE BEFORE NOON AND FINISHED IN UNDER 3HRS. COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE AND STAFF WAS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY. WOULD DEFINITELY PLAY AGAIN!
Exactly what I was looking for
I wanted a decent course that wasn't too crowded at a reasonable price. I'm an average golfer and my two sons are just learning. The course was perfect , great fairways, greens in good shape, it wasn't crowded the day we played. I enjoyed the round very much.
Great value
Course was in great shape overall. Greens were a little bumpy but rest of course was in great condition. Staff was friendly. For $20, it was worth the 30 minute drive to play this hidden gem off the beaten path. Awesome value!
