Golfer Reviews
Good value
Start was a little weird with a new employee behind the desk confused by my prepaid tee time and then the starter wanted to pair me up with a couple who weren’t that comfortable with the arrangement on a sparsely populated course. Before that, there were free range balls, a nice gesture, especially as it was my first round for 6 months.
Fairways and green were in good shape. Bermuda rough typically made off fairway balls difficult to find. All in all, a good experience at a bargain price.
Tough Course for a Newbie Golfer
This was an amazing course but it is a very difficult
Coarse to play for beginner/amateur golfers. We also chose to go on a day after it had apparently rained and it was very mushy. If you hit the ball in the rough or even on the sides of the fairway it takes forever to find it. Beautiful Greens! Nice coarse overall!
Challenging but playable.
For my round I was paired with another random single golfer. We had fun playing together. The course was in overall good shape. However, the greens were very slow, probably due to being recently verticut and sanded and they are not cutting them low while they heal. But they did roll pretty true, just slow.
The course is older, so a little rough around the edges but the course is not devoid of grass. Plenty of grass everywhere with all the rain they have had lately. However, the mechanic needs to work on keeping the reels of the rough mower the same level and sharper. There were areas everywhere that the rough was striped with high and low grass because the reels were not mowing the same height. Also, the the general height of the rough was too deep for resort/beach golf. Balls just off the fairway were sometimes disappeared and hard to find because the rough was so tall. It’s not the US Open, cut it shorter for the average joe.
Overall experience was fun even though I had an off day with my swing.
Great Course, Excellent Staff!
I play here often and course is always in nice shape! Nice carts, fairways, rough, and greens. The staff is amazing. They are always so friendly and welcoming.
Great course for the money
Course was in great condition considering the amount of rain the have had, might be the best greens in the area, highly recommend
Good course for the money
Pretty nice course, nice fairways, greens where in good shape, although small. Only complaint was the tee boxes needed mowed. Not just for height, but most boxes had sprouts sticking up that were well past ankle high.
Well maintained track
First time and was pleasantly surprised at the good condition of the fairways and greens late summer. Also, the course offers a good value with reasonable rates. Pace of play was great for a Saturday midday.
Course info
Course is well laid out and very very good value for money
Slow play
Having a two player behind 3 players with a small child and did not let us play through.
Great Course
Staff was great and the course is in very good shape.
Nice Course
My son and I were looking for a new course that was reasonably priced. The course was in great shape and had a challenging layout. We enjoyed our round and look forward to coming back again in the near future. Staff greeted us as we arrived and were very helpful and friendly.
