Excellent time of year!
I know it's hot in August but the course is in great shape...grab the afternoon hot deal time and there will be nobody on the course. Played by myself in 3 hrs. Nobody plays here in the afternoon. However that also means you will not see a beverage cart. Only even saw the ranger once while I was coming up 18. Fairways and greens all cut nicely.

That’s the greeting my son and I received this morning at the international club . I have to admit I have never experienced anything like this in forty years of playing golf. On a plus side, the course was empty, I wonder why.
Vacation golfing
Course was located just minutes from our vacation condo and easy to get to.
Course was in great shape and a good value for fee we paid
Very rude front desk staff
Played last year, love, , this year a booked through golf now, so had to pay upfront. Walked up to the front desk and I New it was going to be a bad experience because the guy rolled his eyes as soon as I walked up. We only play there one time the year before and we did not have to have a collar shirt but the guy at the desk was so rude about it, take it we were dressed nice with under armor shirt, he told us he didn’t care what we did last year but we needed to go get a collar shirt even if we had to go to Walmart and get one.i don’t get to play a lot of golf but this was the rudest guy I ever delt with. So I’m out of $103 and didn’t swing a club because of being so defended.. I understand policy but this guy was over the top rude.

Had family in town from out of state and played there many times. However, the course manager decided to enforce the no cooler rule and dress attire. Had to change attire and our coolers were removed from our hands and put in our car by the attendant. This delayed out tee time which we had reservations for a show later in the evening and didn’t have time to clean up OR each dinner before the show!
Then while on the course, NOBODY was out to offer water or other beverages!! We can follow rules with no problem, as long as we are accommodated. Couldn’t have our cold water and our cooling rags with us!!! We were miserable playing without keeping hydrated!!
Absolutely will not go back unless we can at least keep our cooler!!!!

Great course for $
Course had great layout with plenty of birdie type holes
Very rudely dealt with
We play this course last y’all, they did not require collard shirts, when we walked up to counter to check in for tee time, the person at counter rolled his eyes and was very very rude. We were dressed nicely but were told that he didn’t care if we went to Walmart or where ever but we were going to get a collar shirt. The management there was so rude . I only play golf a couple times a year and our vacation is one of those times, but this experience was nothing like last year. I would never recommend this course just because of the management. When you go on vacation you would hope for a great experience but in stead I lost $103 and didn’t get to hit one golf balls.

fun with friends
Cousre is lady friendly and well maintained. had a great time with new local residents we met, good times.
Great staff and playing time
Had a morning play time and was done in less than four hours. Only had to wait a few minutes on a few holes. Sand traps were basically unplayable but other than that the course was great!
GolfNow
Golfnow charged me for a cancelled round, even though i made my tee time and paid at the course. Ripoff

Aerated greens and poor layout
Currently aerating greens. Rest of course is in good shape. Very forgiving course but if you drive 250+ be prepared to only take out your driver 2-4x on the back 9 only. For the same price, head to Prestwick Country Club (not listed on GolfNow). Challenging but fair. Amazing track for the same price as International Club of Myrtle Beach.

Bumpy Greens
Course had recently been aerated and this was not noted on Golf Now. I had passed up playing three other courses listed on Golf Now that were noted as being aerated to find one that was not.

COURSE NEEDS ATTENTION
Staff was fine. It looked like the course needed some cutting. Tee box grass was high. Greens where very slow and needed rolling and cutting. Bunkers need some attention. Dont know if they are going out of business but for GN fee of 72 dollars this was a 30 to 35 dollar course. Greens should have been running faster, much faster. Otherwise clean and simple course. Drop the fee you might get more play and hence more revenue to cut grass
