Sporting five sets of tees, large greens and well defined hazards, this 18 hole, 7054 yard course is surrounded by the peaceful setting of wetlands, meadows and wildlife. Pace of play & Members
Pace of play was horrendous. Overbooked tee-times. Greens had a few rough patches but could see they were being worked on. Members of the course very rude and unfriendly. Would not recommend if you are wanting to enjoy your round.
Green issues
The greens weren't consistent and many were in poor condition.
Sorry, but stay away!!
1st, know that I LOVE this course!! All of 2023 this course was in awesome condition. The greens were the BEST in Brunswick County. Layout will test any skill when played from the appropriate tees.
03-30-24 course conditions: deplorable. A lot of greens have no grass and are dirt and sand. The reason I suggest to stay away so the play on the course reduces and the staff has an opportunity to restore their impeccable conditions. Tees and fairways had grass and weeds 1 1/2 to 2 inches in height. Something happened at this great course and it was not good. So stay away. Sorry Meadowlands, I love you guys, but I so regret my last experience there.

Great course for the cost. Played several years and consistently fun course. On the easy side w few hazards in play.
Not so hidden gem
What a great day of playing. Very friendly and helpful staff from time we set foot on property. Pro shop guys very cheerful and chatty w advice on course. Good range facility and putting. Starter was super nice. Tee boxes, fairways and greens in solid shape coming out of winter. Layout is very fair for a mid handicapper. Course is all in front of you. Hospitality cart around 2x on each 9. Marshall visible keeping play moving. 4:20 round with a mid afternoon tee time is fantastic. Highly recommend crossing the border from Myrtle to play this not so hidden gem of a course.
Not good condition
having played here before I was very disappointed in the condition of the greens. almost always good they were bare, bumpy and worst of all too many cups in close proximity of the days pins
This course is well kept.
Love to play this course. It was packed and still finished in 4 hours. I recommend this course highly.
Meadowlands
Pace of play was terrible!
The main reason was that it was cart path only. In my opinion the conditions didn’t require cart path only none of the fairways had any standing water on them.
Driving range was closed due to weather conditions
We had a 1:30 tee time when we arrived there were no carts available had to wait for golfers to finish but we did start on time.
Unable to complete 18 due to darkness
Made the turn in just under 3 hours very slow pace!
Slow pace, but good course
Three of us played on a Friday, early afternoon expected slow play. But, it should not take nearly 6 hours. It is a good course, but too slow.
