Overpriced GC

Very disappointing to see many large brown dead grass in the fair way… it was sad looking greens. The staff was excellent!

Nice but expen$ive

I was very happy with the course, layout and staff. It was fair and offered some great views of the strip in the background. I think the green fees were significantly overpriced for the value of the round and given that the fairways and greens had recently been aerated and were very thin or bare in spots, I took special exception to paying these premium rates.

Awful shape, fun tract, could be nice but wasn’t

Booked a tee time for this course a couple months in advanced. Arrive to the course to find it lacking severely. No driving range (just a practice net place to warm up) and my goodness the fairways were awful. Greens were fine in my opinion, but if I am paying $250 for a round in vegas it better be as nicer than the ones that are $60 and I must say it underdelivered. Fun tract, but couldnt get over how terrible the fairways were. No grass/just dirt in several places. If Bali Hai wants to survive, they need to upkeep the course better or reduce their pricing significantly.

Very Disappointed

Bali Hai is normally a place I love to play. The conditions are normally nice but when we played the course was not watered for what seemed like a couple weeks. It was unplayable. We spent $250 to have hard pan fairways and greens that were easy to 4 putt on every single hole. Not a fun experience at all. The guy we were paired with, who we just met, called me this week to see if I wanted to play in a tournament at Bali in June. I told him I would be happy to come to Vegas again and play anywhere but Bali. I recommend calling them before you book and really asking them about course conditions.

The course was disappointing…. The course was not kept up as I remembered. Paying $165 for Twillight was not worth it .

Not a good value for the cost.

I may have been unlucky with the timing of the year, but the tee boxes and still had aeration damage, and the fairways were pretty dry and had yellow patches. The driving range is just hitting into a net which is pathetic for such an expensive course. Smuggle your own drinks in because a Red Bull and bottle of water was $14, later on two cans of beer and two shots were $54. I’m sure there are much cheaper places to play where you get better value.

All around great experience

I'm really happy with our experience. The location is super close to Mandalay Bay. While it was a little more money than some alternative courses, the value of the closer location to the strip, professionalism by each staff member we met, beverage cart person, overall vibe definitely makes up for a few more dollars. We'll worth it. Being next to the airport there was some noise but didn't bother anyone in our group. Definitely a do over!

ONLY REVIEW TO READ

I played the tips and I must say it is super long so if you want a challenge, this is the course for you. The par 3s are tough but most of the other holes are pretty open if you spray the ball. The fairways are dry but you definitely will enjoy it. Unfortunately, I pick a day where they literally just aerated the course …ouch $$$.

Not what it used to be.

Course was really dried out. GPS was 15 -30 yards off on ALL holes. Informed staff, didn’t seem to care. Not worth the money. Too bad.

Great round with great staff

We had a great time today. Visiting from San diego. Sylvia did a great job taking care of us with the cart cervezas. Always had a great joke in hand. The Marshall's were fantastic at keeping up pace of play. Will come back again.

Nice course but not what I expected

First, Every staff member was fantastic!

I understand paying the non-resident rate was going to be more, but then again I was expecting a bit more on the course. Grass in the fairways was thin and many of the greens didn't role true. When putting, the ball would hit bums and old hole spots. Also the constant very loud noise of passing jets and helicopters was distracting, a number of times one would have to back away from a drive or putt.

Pricing in the pro-shop was higher than normal. $45 and up for a hat and $100 and up for their shirt offerings was a bit steep. I didn't like how big and loud their logo was on their shirts so I passed but I did buy two hats for my boys.

Overall, it was nice but not worth the non-resident rate, but that being said, I feel bad for non-residents who want to golf here in Florida.

Again, what made the day enjoyable was the staff.
