Bali Hai Golf Club

If you are short on time and need something close to the strip , this is a great course. Don't bother warming up, you will be hitting off concrete into a net. We teed off at 7am, beautiful, but nothing but planes and helicopters for four hours. Even though we played at a great pace, we were told a couple of times that we were 10 minutes off pace.

Staff not friendly , courteous or engaging- ranger unwilling to address the pace of play with those lagging behind.

Very slow round!!!!!!

The staff at Bali Hai was very friendly and helpful. Fairways were in great shape but the greens had just been verticut so putting was extra tough. Understand why it has to be done but it is somewhat disappointing for the price paid. My buddy made an albatross on number 10 which was certainly the highlight of the round.

Beautiful course, clubhouse and friendly staff. Practice facility is lame. Worn turf into a net.(might as well hit off concrete.

Excellent breakfast and staff was great.

Course was in great shape, however, proximity to Airport is a bit much. Relax and Time your shots between aircraft.wee

No water provided. Prices for all purchases, even water, was ridiculously high, even for Las Vegas! Not worth what they charged for various food and beverages I bought.

The course was great looking, there was a ton of planes flying overhead, was annoying at times. The pace of play was a little slow, there was a 5-some in front of us and that slowed us down a lot. Book earlier then 11am, pace would probably be better.

Great place for any type of golf outing - friends, tournament, a little on-course gambling or just for fun. Bali Hai is a great experience.

Don’t mind playing a little slow but 5 hours for 18 holes? Greens were in poor condition and fuzzy. Tight fairways keep you on your toes for balls sprayed from other holes.

Good course for a bachelor party, But much better options for less money near Vegas

It was like hitting off hard pan.

I was here for a golf outing with my brother, son and friend. The course did not disappoint. Played here a few times before. Perfect weather, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Beverage cart was on course and there every time we needed a pick me up. Pace was good. Only 5 minutes from where we were staying at Mandalay Bay.. We will definitely be back.

Great course layout in a unique setting. Course condition is also great. That’s the end of the good news.

On Saturday afternoon we were on pace for a 5+ hour round. The course was full of tourists, some of whom shouldn’t be playing a challenging course. That’s not normally a big deal if the course is scheduled and marshaled correctly to a 4:20 max round. Never saw a Marshall - even when there were three or four groups on a single par 4. We watched as players dropped ball after ball to hit a good shot while being videotaped with the Vegas Strip in the background. The views from some holes are very good.

Perhaps another prevalent factor on a Saturday was the number of pretty, mostly youngish “Par Mates” who can be hired to provide “company” to mostly middle aged golfers who were, understandably, in no hurry to finish their rounds within a reasonable amount of time. I have nothing against that as long as it doesn’t adversely affect pace of play.

I made a tee time at Bali Hai to treat my cousin from England to a great round of golf at a great course. He summed up his views when asked by a staffer in the pro shop if he’d enjoyed the round ($300).

His reply was truthful and simple: “That was the most awful round of golf in my entire life.”

So, if you are a serious golfer, try a different course. If you need the company of a pretty, young woman, want to take dozens of selfies, or like a 5+ hour round this is the course for you!

This is a go to quality venue. I played a bunch there this past two weeks and it’s a very good layout. Hard to knock any aspect of the track, layout, service and feel of this place.

Sure, you adjust to the planes, and you start looking around and realizing what a fun place this track is ..really lush fairways and receptive fast greens. Tremendous product.
