Overpriced!

No proper practice range. Set in between the airport and the fwy, so noisy and not that pretty. 10 mins between each group so the entire course was backed up and took about 5 hours to play. There are way better courses available in Vegas!

Vegas baby

I haven't played a ton around vegas, ill give an honest review of my experience.

I stayed at the MGM Grand and was a quick commute for an early morning tee time. Practice area consisted of a hitting net area which was ok, not a full range but larger hitting net that allowed you to at least see some.of your ball flight. Pro shop and starter were friendly, I rented clubs and they were average Callaway clubs, nothing special. Usually if you rent clubs they will include a sleeve of bags and a glove, not here. And rental was 80$. Course shape was average, some dead spots and repair needed sporadically throughout the course. Nothing major but is your paying 300USD I would have expected better. Id recommend, bring your own clubs and book in advance or through GN or your hotels concierge to find a deal.

A course that is a ‘Must Play’

Cannot recommend this course enough.

Staff were fantastic

The course is well looked after.

Even with a bad shot, how could you be mad with the views throughout?

Great Layout

First time playing Bali Hai and I would definitely play again. Course was in great shape and the greens were very good. Unfortunately lots of people dont fix ball marks, so 8 to 10 repairs a hole were needed. Other than that very fun track and some challenging holes. Overall a great place to play. Staff was excellent and made you feel welcome along with first class amenities.

Horrible

Not worth the time or money. Messed up my tee time, started me in the middle of the course and it was a 6 hour round

Golf Pass would not give me a refund

It was 43 degrees, windy and raining hard. Golf Pass would not refund my money. This is lame. I should not be forced to play in those conditions because if prepayment. The forecast changed the night before showing the rain arriving earlier than previously forecasted. So not enough notice to cancel. Wow not even a rain check.

Great course layout next to the Vegas strip

I have played this golf course over a dozen times over the past 10+ years, so that alone is pretty telling. The course itself is legitimate and challenging. Some may think it's not a "real" golf course being that close and adjacent to the Vegas strip. But the truth is, it is a very good, legitimate par 71 golf course with a great layout. I am from SoCal so whenever I visit and stay on the Las Vegas strip, this course is incredibly convenient and always on my radar. Literally a mile or so from the south end of the strip. The staff are always friendly and for the most part the course remains in good/excellent condition 12 months out of the year. That said, given its convenience to visitors staying on the Las Vegas strip and great layout and conditions, it is not surprising that green fees are quite expensive. I guess that's the price you pay for convenience. What many non-locals do not know is that Las Vegas and surrounding neighborhoods have many nice golf courses. Many of which are half the green fees for non-residents as Bali Hai. But for those who fly into town and do not rent a car, taking ride share to and from these other off strip courses starts to add up. So the inflated pricing you pay to play Bali Hai essentially baked this into account. More far expensive, yet far more convenient. This is the price you pay for convenience. For my most recent round, I only paid $60. There must have been a glitch in the booking system because every other time I've played this course it's been in excess over $170 (for am tee times...sure you can catch a cheaper rate during twilight hours). But in general, it's normally between $250 to $350. Personally, I like this course. I like it a lot. But if I can find a public course in Henderson, Summerlin, or Southern Highlands area for less than half the price then I usually opt to play there instead. But if I get lucky and find a good deal at Bali Hai (like I did for this last round), definitely do not pass it up. Take advantage of it and enjoy the nice convenient round 5-10 mins away from your hotel room. This is likely why everyone that plays this course are all visiting the city. All the locals usually play elsewhere.

Loud Loud Loud.

We played this course off a friend’s recommendation and unfortunately we were very disappointed. There is almost nonstop jets flying overhead, so much so that talking with friends was difficult The course is busy and the greens show it. Ball marks everywhere making putting difficult. Also, there is no driving range per se, just a net. All and all I wouldn’t suggest this course, and I won’t be returning.
