Siena Golf Course

The fairways tend to be wider than most of the other courses in the area. This is good for those of us who spray our drives. The greens are not in great condition though. Lots of old divots. I understand that the golfers should be the ones who do most of the repairs but the course personnel should not let the greens fall into disrepair. Still I will always recommend Sienna as a golf destination.

Very very slow. Was in a cart with someone who smokes. I asked if I can get my own cart but was not denied. Pace was slow as usual and the greens were n bad shape.

I have been playing Siena since it opened in 2000. The pace of play is getting worse. I’m sorry I again renewed my player card. Most of the staff are great but the manager is just an unhappy person. After over 3 hours yesterday and 9 holes we quit. Surprisingly we got a credit. This excuse was aimed at an early outing and not enough carts. What well managed course doesn’t have enough carts. I have been playing for over 50 years at a variety of clubs and Siena is the only one that doesn’t have enough carts. For starters the tee times should be every 10 minutes.

2:45 to play front 9. No carts or practice balls when we arrived.

Arrived from out of town for a friends birthday. Course was in horrible condition, tee boxes had over grown grass, greens had hundreds of divets on each one and were really wet. The bunkers were either concrete hard or had standing water in them. Pace of play was slow, took almost 6 hrs to finish the round. Wont return and they should be embarrassed to charge 150 for that course.

I have played here about 50 times and starting since covid this place is just falling. Bunkers are lacking sand and manicuring, fairways are like short rough, greens rolled pretty good but goose poop at all the water holes is terrible, you can't even putt on the 9th green.. Carts are still in pretty good shape and service is pretty good. pace of play was slow for some reason and they need to start paring people up with others even if they don't want to.

My experience at Siena Golf Course on October 7th was nothing short of disastrous. We were out-of-towners who had chosen this course for my son's 30th birthday, a decision that we would soon regret. Siena had scheduled a super senior golf tournament that morning, which added up to an average of six hours per team. Our tee time was at 11:09, but we didn't begin until 11:50 and had to follow the tournament for the first nine holes. We were only allowed to play eleven holes in four and a half hours before we had to leave due to other birthday obligations. The ranger apologized three times, but there seemed to be nothing he could do. We asked for a refund, but that was not an option.

The greens were a mess. Some kind of weed was growing on them, so staff had to cut out huge chunks of the green and replace them. However, they seemed to be unable to keep up, as several greens had huge spots with no grass at all. This was my first time in seven years that I was disappointed with my golfing vacation. I had never seen or heard about a course operating in this manner. The staff apologized, but they were not willing to offer any kind of financial compensation. We had no chance to finish 18 holes that day, yet we were still charged over $300. There was no consideration for customer satisfaction on their part. I'm sure Siena didn't care once they had our money, but they have a responsibility to be upfront about what they can provide.

When it came up to the ranger 3 times he was really sorry but that was it (nothing that guy could do apparently). We asked for a refund because we barely got any golf in and the answer was an astounding no.

This is the first time it was a huge disappointment. Never have I ever seen or heard about a course operating in this manner. Again they were really sorry but were not willing to do anything about it financially.

There was absolutely no possible way that we were going to be able to get 18 holes in that day and they charged us over $300 and didn’t care whatsoever. If I did that in my business I wouldn’t have any clients left. But hey I’m sure it wasn’t their fault once they have your money what do they care?

2.5 hours for nine holes, teed off 20 minutes late. Course is beat up and in pretty rough shape. Most bunkers were cement and waterlogged. Overall not impressed and dissatisfied. Will not be making another trip to this course.

The course was in terrible shape and should be embarrassed to charge customers $150 for a round of golf.

It’s a nice cours. Fairways need some work but oversell a very nice god layout

Greens had many fungus/dry spots scattered across almost every green. Fairways were okay but there were some muddy/wet spots too. Rough isn’t great. Overall this course just seems very public and almost municipal. I’m sure the course has its great moment but I wasn’t impressed but I wasn’t expecting much either. The range was closed on Monday when the round included free range. I may be back but in no hurry with the other options out there.
