About
Gripping it and ripping it may be in vogue, but course architect team Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt are not going to let that be the extend of your strategy at Siena Golf Club.
This Las Vegas course is about shot-making more than bombing away. Siena's 97 pot bunkers are arranged to force frequent strategic decisions. Sometimes discretion is the better part of scorecard valor at Siena.
Hooking the ball every which way is paid for dearly at Siena. It's best to go with the clubs you can hit reasonably straight and give up a little distance.
Views of the surrounding mountains are complemented by six different water bodies, including Lake Siena. You'll be strategizing in some striking scenery.
"I don't think you'll come away impressed with this course," marketing director Mick Toscano said. "I think you'll come away awestruck."

Golf Siena
This is one of the best course layouts in Las Vegas. The staff in the club house are great and friendly. They have a good driving range, chipping area. It is also nice to be able to practice from well-maintained bunkers, and great putting greens.
Nice course
With so many of the areas courses closing or turning into goat tracks this one remains in good shape. The day I played the greens were still recovering from the punch and sand although it wasn’t terrible. A little slow here and there but again not too bad. Great driving range!

Awesome Golf Course
Siena Golf course layout is challenging yet fair. It rewards great shots with endless scoring opportunities. Stay in scoring position by not trying to bite off too much. Very enjoyable!

The tees and greens were recently sanded and we had no clue. Still a bad day on the golf course is better than a good day at work.

Nice - but there is room for improvement
Overall Siena is a very nice golf club for what you pay. The staff members were great.
The restaurant and its food are excellent. There is a driving range and pitting green but no chipping area.
Pace of play was not bad in the morning but the afternoon was pretty backed up. I do think they need to space out the pace otherwise people will look elsewhere
I also did not know the greens were aerated earlier in the week. Overall course is fun and challenging. A little shorter than most

Siena mediocrity
Greens over sanded and aerated last week but no mention in booking process, unfortunately.

Siena stays solidly in the rotation every year
One of the better layouts and grounds crews in Vegas. Can be slow on the weekends, but a 6:52 start on Thursday and we were done in 3 hours flat. Slick, deceiving greens with areas on the course you think you’re putting uphill and you can blow it 10 feet past in a hurry. Generally roll very well and pin positions seem fair almost always. Solid driving and well placed tee shots provide for many scoring opportunities. Only downside this round was the greens had just been aerated and sand filled and unfortunately there was no warning or discounted greens fee! Not much else to complain about. Mostly 5 star spot.

That time of the year
Overall the course was in great shape, they recently aerated. The fairways had minimal holes due to the maintenance. The greens however had a Sand Top coat on them. Difficult to putt through. The greens should be perfect within the next 5 days or a week. As far as the bunkers go, my playing partner found every single sand trap on the course, and according to him, the bunkers were firm VV

Just aerated, nice but slow.
Pace of play was a bit slow. They sent out lots of twosomes in lieu of foursomes.
Course had just been aerated and greens were sanded heavily. Played decent, but wish I would have known about the aeration.
Nice course with a good layout. Bunkers were like concrete.

Course in great shape. Clubhouse and grill/restaurant was top notch with good service and food. Course was in fantastic shape, bunkers were plentiful and very challenging as were the greens. Fairways were generous making for an overall enjoyable buddies trip outing. Only negative was a lack of a shapely game chipping area.

Double Charged Me Due to Golf Now
Rather upset with this course management not informing me that I double booked and made no attempt to let me know. Double charged me and so did Golf Now. One round of golf cost me $249. Never will play at this course or use golf now at any time. Crooks !!
