About
Legacy Golf Club sits on 28 acres of Dwight B. Heard's turn-of-the-20th-century ranch, home to 1902 silos that decorate the 18th fairway - once the tallest manmade things in Maricopa County. More history is on the first tee, in the Sierra Vista House which counts among its early-1900s visitors Theodore Roosevelt and Pancho Villa.
Gary Panks designed the golf course at the Legacy Golf Club, giving it lush fairways, strategic hazards and manicured greens to test all golfers. Native flora grows from the landscape, and the club's elevation offers a vista of Camelback Mountain, Squaw Peak and the skyline of Phoenix.

Challenging but beautiful course!
Loved the challenge of the bunkers and the hilliness of the fairways. Course was in great condition! Would definitely play again!
Always fun
Have played numerous times. Course fairways and greens always pretty good. Greens true and reasonably fast but a little beat up from ballmarks etc. Traps are quite hard , which is a long term problem especially since they are generally very deep. Main thing I don’t like is the machines enter and leave the traps leaving a ramp of sand and debris at the entry and exit points. Looks bush league.
I enjoy playing it and I believe the practice facility in general is one of the best in the valley, and I always enjoy the range and observing the young guns and their beautiful swings also.
For someone who doesn’t play as much but still likes to practice it is a big plus. I hope there is a monthly or annual pass for the range.
Legacy club
Generally a challenging layout. Qeuite well bunkered. Bunkers are deep and some don't have a lot of sand. Greens are receptive and run reasonably true.
Great Track
We had a great time playing this course.
Can't wait to get back again when the pricing is affordsble. Great condition and fun to play. Greens were a challenge yet fair.

Good track, greens were good, price was somewhat reasonable. .
Great course
Frost delay, but they run a tight ship and had marshalls everywhere. Course was in fantastic shape.
Over priced
Very nice course in excellent condition but felt it was overpriced relative to others in the area.
Finally a 4 hour round of golf mainly due to all of the no shows due to cold weather. I wish they could take care of their slow play problem out here. It is the number one drawback to using this course.
