About
Legacy Golf Club sits on 28 acres of Dwight B. Heard's turn-of-the-20th-century ranch, home to 1902 silos that decorate the 18th fairway - once the tallest manmade things in Maricopa County. More history is on the first tee, in the Sierra Vista House which counts among its early-1900s visitors Theodore Roosevelt and Pancho Villa.
Gary Panks designed the golf course at the Legacy Golf Club, giving it lush fairways, strategic hazards and manicured greens to test all golfers. Native flora grows from the landscape, and the club's elevation offers a vista of Camelback Mountain, Squaw Peak and the skyline of Phoenix.

One of the top courses in the area
Price drop after Memorial day. Played in under 4 hours on a Saturday morning. That's great for Az public courses. Fairways and greens in great condition. Variety of hole layout so you can play strategically. It's not just driver and wedges. Would highly recommend
Great mid-week outing!
Legacy is always a great place to get in a round and meet interesting people.
Great Golf Pass Deal
We had a 5:15 pm tee time and paid $24 with cart. Finish 13 holes. Free range ball. Incredible course for that price. Course tee to green was in excellent condition. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They noticed the tire on our cart was low on air and radioed for a new cart and it arrived in a couple of minutes.
Great course and People
Course was in real good shape. People were very helpful. This course gets too expensive for the locals until summer time. Wish they had a local rate or playing pass for people that live here.
Nice Greens!
Legacy exceeded my expectations! Course was in solid shape and the greens were excellent! They filled fast and true! Service was good, but would be nice as it’s getting hot to over cold towels. I’ll be back!

Green are tricky and roll fantastic! Overall great condition for this time of the year.
Nebraska golfer
Got great price on golf now $48, includes cart and practice balls. Nice practice facility driving range, Chipping and putting areas. Fairly flat course but some interesting holes. Fairly wide fairways but you need to avoid fairway bunkers which have high lips. Love the par threes. Greens in good shape and were fairly quick. Definitely a place I would recommend to friends
Slow Pace of play. back 9
Do nothing Marshal slow pace back 9(2:45hr). Golf course ranger doesn't cares about pace of play
Great layout
Great layout. Greens mostly elevated. Putting was true.
Range balls included. Practice green comparable to the course greens. Had a great time.
Legacy
Course in great condition very fast greens a little hard for any approach shot to get close to flag.
Great Sunday Golfing
It was a great day at the golf course. The staff was great. My playing partners were great. Overall great day of golf.
Legacy in May
Course in excellent shape except for the sand traps, they have little sand on top of hard pan.
