North Shore Golf Course
About
The 18-hole North Shore Golf Club in Orlando, Florida is a semi-private golf course that opened in 2001. The course slides around lakes and wetlands, and then detours through a grove of large ancient oak trees before re-emerging into the clear at the finish. It has two distinct nines converging to form one remarkable 18-hole layout. Begin your round on the Modern nine, winding through native wetlands and Florida's natural topography. The Classic nine is carved through a grove of 100-year old oak trees, creating an enjoyably unique setting for your finishing holes. North Shore Golf Club is located less than 10 minutes from Orlando International Airport and offers a complete practice facility and world-class instruction.

#13 fairway, long and wide. Ignore the brown grass in the foreground - the fairways are lush enough to hit fairway woods on the par 5s with ease. Photo submitted by Buckleahy on 02/23/2013

Great course at a fair price
My first time playing this course and was pleasantly surprised. Overall condition was very good. Fairways were mostly lush and very nice to play on. The greens were in very good shape and a little on the slow side...although there were a few brown/bare patches on some of them.
Overall, I really enjoyed it and would definitely play there again.
Great course
We love playing at North Shore. Far more relaxed than the regimented courses often found in central Florida. Excellent pace of play, people respectful and get a move on here. Course in good shape, four stars as some tee boxes are very scruffy.
Just a great place to enjoy a hassle free round of golf.
Excellent Course and Value
Staff incredibly friendly, course moderately challenging and enjoyable. Greens in excellent condition, especially considering the recent weather conditions. Great pace of play (it was a Monday mid-day however). Highly recommend
Very Poor Conditions for Price
Tee boxes are awful, a lot of weeds near the greens. The fact they are charging $90 on a weekend morning for that is comical. The greens are generally always great but had been recovering from small-tine punching it seemed. Just very disappointing that their rates are consistently high year-round for poor conditions.
Mediocre, not worth $90
I called before booking to verify the greens weren't punched, showed up amd they in fact were punched. That aside, tee boxes were beat up, fairways were decent, and greens were... punched. Terrible pace of play, we were playing as a threesome, joined up with the twosome in front of us because we were all waiting on every tee box together. We then, as a 5 ball, waited on every shot for the rest of the round. Definitely not worth $90. To compare, southern dunes is the same price or close, and is in immaculate condition. If you're think of booking here, just go there instead. Literally anywhere else would be a better deal.
Enjoyed the course. Loved the layout and it’s not super long. Only con was they neglected to tell us they had recently punched the greens. They were a bit bumpy and on the shaggy side. However, we still enjoyed our experience and wouldn’t mind returning again.
Worth the money
Course was in overall good shape. Tee boxes are beat up, but fairways and greens in good shape. This is a local course that I play quite a bit, and it looks as though they’ve made a good attempt to get it into good shape. Will definitely girly continue to play here.
Good course
This is a good course. The differences between the front and back 9 make it a lot of fun. I just do not see why the course is priced so high - it’s not close to others priced similarly. Still… play it!
Great Course! Lots of Fun!
Great course to play! First time back in a while I was glad to see some trees were cut down, and grass cut around some holes that needed it. Hedges were place around the 3rd hole par (4) water to prevent golfers balls from rolling in the water on a bad shot. Tee boxes need some TLC but overall I had a great time enjoy the round. I would recommend this course to play.
Amazing
The greens rolled true, fairways were actual fairways. The starter had a ton of good information as well super friendly. Cart girl came around quite a bit so we never ran out of drinks
Great course conditions
The course was in very good condition and also the greens were as well. The staff was very unfriendly but other then that it was a good time.
