Enjoyed the course. Condition of the course was great and so was pace of play!
I can’t believe they’re charging full price for this
They don’t have grass. And before you say “it’s Bermuda, it’s just dormant,” the “fairways” are mostly hard packed black dirt with some dormant Bermuda grass. The greens are schizophrenic. They have different strains of grass all over so they are bumpy. The tee boxes are probably the least disappointing but not what they should be.
It’s almost May and they don’t have grass…

I was just thirsty
There wasn’t any water or cart service available on the course so after the front 9 we stopped to pickup drinks but there wasn’t anyone attending the pro shop. We did just grab some water with the intention of paying after we finished but we still couldn’t find an attendant.

Conditions
Worst shape I’ve seen it in 3 years. Greens are long, tee boxes a mess, fairways brown and overgrown. Fantastic track but is not kept well lately.

Our fairways are a warm season, Bermuda grass. The Bermuda should start turning green towards late April to early May pending the temperatures.
We are keeping our greens height slightly higher to help promote root structure going into aerification on May 2nd and 3rd.

Good shape
Course is in good shape for the time of year, can’t complain at all
Poorly maintained
Fairways are brown, dead grass. Greens are slower than shag carpet. Uninspired design.

Short Round
I love this course. We only got to play the front 9 (twice) because of work on the back but it was still an enjoyable round. As with many courses this year the fairways are a bit thin but the greens are in pretty good condition. The staff at the Pro-Shop is always amazing and friendly!!

Nice Midweek Round
Pace of play was fantastic and the course conditions were pretty good for this time of year. It was a wet and mucky day but a great day for a Father/Son round of golf. I have played here before and look forward to the warmer weather and course conditions improving (as they always do).

Pretty Good for Winter
Fairways are brown but the dormant grass still provides a good base for shots. Rough was very reasonable. Greens are in good condition and roll well. The golfers aren't taking the bunkers, as usual and not the course's fault, so you may have to move your ball in the bunker to get a fair lie. Plea to my fellow golfers...rake your bunker mess as well as everything else you can reach! It takes less than a minute

Impressive greens
Haven’t play this course for over 10 years. Gave it a try for the rate that I paid for. Greens are impressive. Tee boxes are in good/fantastic shape. Fairway are good. Some thin spot here and there but don’t expect growth for this time of year. For $55 or less, worth pay to play.

Great conditions
Have played Forest Greens many, many times over the last few years. I have never seen it in better condition. Greens? Immaculate! Fairways? Thick and green, but not long. Tees? Tees? Very nice. Kudos to the maintenance team. I love the layout as well. Plenty of dog legs and elevation changes. All in all, a great course, beautiful weather, and good pace of play; not to boast but I corrected a swing flaw causing me to push many shots to the right. Check out Forest Greens. You won’t be disappointed.
