make sure you bring your own water
95 degree plus day. no water on course. no beverage cart. cart path only for no reason. restaurant closed. can't get water anywhere. could have a stroke on course. they don't even warn you before you play that water is not on course. totally ridiculous. additionally the Bermuda grass fairways are bare. Stay away until they get their act together.
Forest Green - Excellent Course
Both my wife and I enjoyed the course and it provided a number of challenging holes. The layout was outstanding and the staff was wonderful. What a great way to spend our July 4th morning. We'll be returning to this course. The one surprise was a number of blind shots :).
Enjoyable Experience
Course was in great shape today and the weather was awesome. Bunkers had high quality sand (guess how I know...) and you can tell they're investing in the course.
Will certainly be back.
Ok time
Pace of play, course dryness and hard fairways plus sand traps under repair…greens in good shape but dry.
Pretty good shape
Course is in pretty good shape. Greens are good and tee boxes are good. Fairways are green but patchy and not great. They’re doing a lot of work on their bunkers, and the ones they’ve fixed are good. Pace was a bit slow, had to wait on every shot starting on 2 tee.
Need water!
I've played here a number of times over the years. The Bermuda fairways haven't grown in yet so you will have to roll the ball the get a reasonable lie. The greens are in great shape. The tee boxes are a mixed bag. Lots of work being done on the bunkers. The ones they've finished look great. 4.5 hours on a Sun morning was a great pace. My biggest issue is there is still no drinking water on the course. The county should review the CDC guidance on surface transmission of Covid and get water back out there. Hot, sunny 95 degree day with no water and no beverage cart was tough. Overall, I'll play there again.
