Challenging course an challenging conditions
Not much grass in fairway or rough but probably good to challenge yourself to hit ball first. If you go off line into woods you can’t play your ball with all the rocks. Played with my son so that is always special.
First time this year
Love the course. Would like to see improvement on course cart lanes. Nicely cut down course fairways bushes. But this time I stayed away from all that.
Quality Course
Despite the recent weather conditions, the staff has maintain the course quite well. Pace of play and overall friendliness of those working there and make this a pleasure to play.
RUDE STAFF. BAD EXPERIENCE
The pro shop staff was discourteous. This was the second consecutive time. When I pay to golf I come to relax and enjoy myself. I don’t pay to be treated disrespectfully. This experience started my round off with a real negative vibe before even teeing off. I hoped the first bad customer experience was a one off. It was not. This is not the first review reporting rude staff.. I won’t patronize Forest Greens again.
Forest greens
I had a 130 pm time on Friday afternoon. It was a nice day. I got there at 1220 to warm up. I paid and there was one cart for use. I took it as usual. I warmed up and went to putting green. While putting, the starter asked me if it was my cart. I said yes. He told me to take my stuff off the cart as he wanted cart. He told me I’d have to get another cart. I took my stuff off dumping on the side of the putting greens. I went to office and was told they did not have my more carts.
I asked for a refund and got it.
This course has starters who r volunteers who are rude. They have told me in past several time that having a handicap placard doesn’t mean much around there.i am disabled.
It’s a poorly designed fairway course with bad grass and poor drainage. Cart path only happens a lot. The starters ruin your round before u get started.
Advertised discounts are falsely done!!
I’ve played there 5 times and each time they have found away to not honor VSGA, T-time pass and military rates even though they advertise each of them. The course is average for this area.
