Love the Layout
Always loved the course layout. Lots of elevation changes and enough doglegs to keep you honest and challenged. Course is in very good shape. Love the greens and bunkers. Greens were beautiful, on the slightly fast side and role true; a few are hard to read! Love #s 10 and 18. Two long par 5s, with big elevation changes and tough doglegs. Great course!

Excellent Shape
Just played FG for the first time in years and the course was in great shape. They are in the process of fixing the tee boxes 2 at a time but that's the only part of the course that needs work. The fairways and greens are green and the grass is thick and strong. The bunkers are all full of soft fresh sand. Best shape I've seen a public course in for a long time. Great work from the staff. Going back soon.

Forest Greens early afternoon
Played alone starting at 1:30. Other than the greens having recently been aerated, the course was in great condition. Fairways cut short and light rough. Perfect weather and excepting one 4-some of beginner women pace of play was fast. Only waited 2 holes behind 4-some then went on by. As is case in this area, course is a bit pricey for me but scored a hot $27 rate.

More info ahead of time
I love playing this course and will continue to play here. The only bad thing I have to say about yesterday’s visit was there was nothing posted about the front 9 being closed when I booked and we had to play the back 9 twice. The price should had been less because of this.

challenging course
Course layout is fantastic. It's always challengeable to play. Greens are very speedy. It makes me always nervous, that I enjoy. I want to play this course at least once a month.
