Good experience
The course was in good shape, not as good as I have seen in past . Recent rains have helped the fairways and greens. Fairways were in very good shape, just needed to be mowed, but they were behind because of the rains. Greens putted true and with good speed. They are soft and have sparse grass in many areas, but very good to putt on. We played in less than 4 hours on a Friday m.orning.
Challenging course, great staff
As most of the other reviews have said, the staff here is incredibly friendly. The course is really nice, lots of challenge expected at a beach course. Plenty of water and bunkers. Greens aren’t the best but worth checking out. Definitely want to check out the other Big Cat courses

Thank you so much for the very nice Four Star review of Tiger's Eye. We apologize you did not catch us at our very best, as the recent extended drought followed by a flood has thrown us a few curve balls we are still dealing with. But things are improving daily and the course should be back in tip top condition very soon. We hope you will visit us again and see our continued progress.
Greens were horrible
Greens were way to long getting water and they were trying to overwater to catch them up but their to far gone till fall. Tee boxes were hard as a rock and fairways were left with clippings up and down them. This course was recommended but had to be because it's in better shape during off season.
First timer!
My wife and I played and thoroughly love the course!!

Thank you so much for playing Tiger's eye! We truly appreciate your patronage and your feedback. Now that the long drought seems to be over, the course will be getting even better daily and should be in excellent condition for the remainder of 2024 and beyond. We hope you will visit us again soon.

Thank you for the very nice Four Star review of Tiger's Eye. We really appreciate it and we hope you will visit us again in the future.
Eye of the tiger
Played here for the first time. We got a hot deal on an early afternoon tee time and were the last group out at 1:18PM. We had the course to ourselves. The course layout is excellent. The fairways are wide and the houses really fade into the background and aren’t in play for the most part. Surprisingly the course winds through nature preserve and many holes don’t have houses. The course is challenging with deep bunkers and big waste areas. The conditions are suffering from a lack of water, there were hard fairways and tee boxes and recently aerated greens. The greens were slow but putt able and fun. The staff at the golf course was great very friendly. I would play again and did play Lepopards chase wich was awesome.
Bad conditions great layout
Obvious course management does not have enough money for water to keep course green! Greens still very slow and bumpy from aeration but fairways and tee boxes worse we’ve seen in years! Have to move your ball around a lot to find patch grass. Too bad we’ve always loved the course layout. Just be aware. Rack rate should be half what is posted.

Thank you for taking the time to review your visit to Tiger's Eye. We apologize for the drier than usual conditions during your visit. It is certainly not a matter of money, simply a lack of any significant rainfall in almost 2 months now. Our pond levels are the lowest anyone has seen in many years. The good news is that it looks like we have the possibility for some significant rainfall in the coming week, which will bring the bermuda grass right back up to full color quickly. We are happy to hear that all other aspects of your visit were excellent or above average. The dry conditions will be improving soon and this will greatly enhance the overall experience for our guests. We hope yo will visit us again and see our continued progress. Thanks again.
Great potential
Course layout was fun and challenging.
The greens were soooo slow. No roll was true because the greens were so furry.
Staff was less than friendly in the pro shop. They seemed annoyed to be there and did not make us feel very welcomed.

Thank you for taking the time to review your visit to Tiger's Eye Golf Links. We truly appreciate your patronage and your feedback. We deeply apologize for the unsatisfactory customer service experience you described. It is our goal to offer each and every one of our guests a fun and memorable golf experience and we are sorry to hear we fell short of that goal on your visit. I will take your feedback to our golf staff and we will work with our front-line employees to make sure they have the training needed to make our guests feel welcome. We apologize again and hope you will visit us again in the future and give us another opportunity to better meet your expectations.
Rain deprived
Love layout but greens were slowest ever..aeration still recovering.. fairways were mostly brown but playable. Tee boxes very hard ground. Needs lots water everywhere.

Thank you for taking the time to review your visit to Tiger's Eye. We agree, it is definitely a beautiful layout. You are correct, we have had only a trace amount of rain in the past 50 days and that has caused some areas of the course to go off-color right now, as we are having to use our available water source for the 72 greens on the four Big Cats courses. This condition will change quickly once we have some rainfall, which looks promising for the next several days! We apologize that your round fell shortly after our annual early summer greens aerification. This is a temporary and necessary procedure to ensure the greens are healthy throughout the remainder of the year. Our staff has been tasked with informing each and every guest of this procedure before they play and to offer them other options, if desired. If your group was not offered this option, please let me know, as we would like to address that oversight immediately. You can contact me directly at blong@oceanridge.com with the details. We apologize again that you did not catch us at our best on this visit and we sincerely hope you will give us another opportunity in the future to better meet your expectations. Thanks again.
Tigers eye
The layout was very good but the conditions were not very good. Greens had been plugged and sanded. Putts were next to impossible to judge or make.
Spend your money elsewhere.
Oddly enough, I shot my lowest ever round here (79), but the tees, fairway, and greens were not in the best of shape. Weeds and patches everywhere. Also, for some utterly bizarre reason, you can’t take the golf cart into the car park (or the range), which is a pain. Much, much better courses in the area for cheaper.

Thank you for taking the time to review your visit to Tiger's Eye. We truly appreciate your patronage and your feedback. We deeply apologize you did not catch us at our very best on this visit. The greens were aerified earlier in the week and it takes a few days for them to fully recover. Hopefully you were informed of this beforehand, as our staff has been instructed to inform all guests of the procedure and offer them the opportunity to play one of the other Big Cats courses instead. As for the dryness of the fairways, we are definitely in need of some rain, which will help the bermudagrass green up quickly. I am a bit confused about the golf cart situation you described. We certainly allow guests to take their cart to the parking lot and to the driving range. So if someone on our staff told you otherwise, I would appreciate more information on that so we can do some re-training, if necessary. You can email me directly at blong@oceanridge.com, if you would, to provide further details on this matter and to also let me know if you were not informed of the aerification beforehand.. Again, we apologize for the unsatisfactory experience and we hope you will visit us again to see our continued improvement.
Good course
Most of the course was in good shape, some greens burnt in some areas. Most of the fairways are in good condition.

Thank you for the very nice Four Star review of Tiger's Eye. We truly appreciate your patronage. The courses in the area are currently undergoing the annual transition from winter/spring grass to summer/fall grass and they always appear a little patchy for a couple of weeks this time of year. But they will be back in full color soon, as the bermuda has broken dormancy and will green up quickly now that the weather conditions are optimal. We hope you will visit us again soon!
Great course for the money and staff is great.
Have played this course numerous times. Got to play with some of the employees of Tigers Eye and it was a great experience. Its a great course. Didnt hit the ball as well I would have liked but enjoyed my time playing with the employees who gave great insight and were fun to play with.

The course has alot of interest holes.
The course was very good shape & greens rolled ture.
We played from the white tees, next time I think I'll play from the blues. I think it will open it up some off the tee to hit driver
I will be playing again.

Excellent
We played in the afternoon after a day of 2-3 inches of rain. The course was surprisingly dry but unfortunately they could not cut the greens due to the rain so they were slow. The course was very quiet and we played in less than four hours. The staff were great. Great layout challenging but fair

Thank you so much for the awesome Five Star review of Tiger's Eye! We truly appreciate your patronage and your feedback. It has definitely been very rainy over the past couple of weeks, but it looks like the sun is finally back out! We hope you will come visit us again soon and be sure to check out the other three Big Cats courses as well.
Thank you for the very nice Four Star review of Tiger's Eye. We truly appreciate your patronage and your feedback. The recent extended drought conditions certainly caused some issues that we are still in the process of dealing with, but the recent heavy rains definitely helped in many ways, but also created some new issues, (Such as keeping the grass mowed properly) to contend with. But we are confident the course will quickly return to top condition and remain that way for the rest of 2024 and beyond. We hope you will visit us again soon and see our continued progress. Thanks again!.
