Great layout; was stupid hot (humidity was ridiculous). Rain previously was also massive, so course was very wet. In fact, I was surprised it was even open. Greens were slow, but grass coverage with Bermuda grass was good. A little cutting and they’d be nice. Fairways needed mowing, but again, previous rain precluded that, understandable.
What a treat this was.
First off I give a round of applause for the grounds crew. This course was in amazing condition considering we just had 4 days of hurricane weather. Check in process is seamless,great on course signs,. Be sure to have a full phone battery there are picture opportunities everywhere I recommend early morning or later for the prime views. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Prices are good to
Nice challenging course
Played on a Tuesday late morning and didn’t see another golfer. Course was in good shape. There are plenty of bunkers. Staff was very friendly, providing tips on how to play the course. Staff stated this was the toughest of the 3 cat courses. I wish I had known that prior as I was playing a casual round with my son and would have chosen one of the other courses. That being said it was a fair test as long as you think yourself around the course. Only downside was they were mowing the greens and we had to wait on a few holes, at least 10 minutes on one hole. Most courses I’ve played would and let you play through.

Great Value for the money
My brother and I jumped on a Hot Deal for a 1:18pm start time after playing Tiger’s Eye in the morning.
While the drive into and clubhouse to Leopards Chase wasn’t anything to ride home about, the course conditions, friendly staff, and course conditions made up for it.
When we arrived we were greeted by “Wolfe” who filled up our carts with ice and spent about 10 min giving us the course layout and tips on scoring. Super nice guy!
Immediately we started and knew the course conditions were substantially better than Tiger’s Eye. The tee boxes, fairway, and greens were excellent.
The front 9 is fun and has a bunch of scenic water holes that you must score on if you want to have a good day. The back nine is full of longer par 4s, 3 par 5s and tight fairways with trouble on both sides.
The only thing I would recommend would be a USB charger for the cart and additional water jugs. The cart girl was nowhere to be found for 18 holes. (We were told she works 2 courses at once).
All in All great course for the money, wasn’t busy and would def play here again.
Fantastic and challenging layout
Absolutely loved playing Leopards Chase. The course is a beautiful layout that will challenge about every club in your bag. The greens were all in great condition, and for the most part, the tee boxes are in great shape as well. I will definitely be coming back to play this course on my next trip to Myrtle Beach.
Return to Form
Leopard’s Chase has always been a terrific layout, but conditioning had become suspect over the past few years. I’m happy to say that the course is moving in the right direction. The new bermuda greens at Leopard’s Chase were fantastic and rolled true all day. When we walked off of 18, we both agreed that it was $62 well spent. Definitely one of the better values in the Brunswick market.

Really like this course cart guy very helpful the man behind the desk has no people skills all he wanted to do was close up and go home

Ist time I played here. The people are great, course is absolutely beautiful. It had just rained , naturally there were some soft spots. But course drained well and had a great time..Made a new friend who helped me to navigate the hazards, great guy ..I will definitely come back again.....

Man that I paid
Not very polite he just wanted to close. He acted like a dick. Now the cart guy was very pleasant and helpful I would say give him a raise and and get rid of the guy behind the counter

Great layout
A fun day of playing a very challenging layout that is in good condition. Fairways and greens in good shape, it is summer so a few burned spots on fairways and greens a little slow. The recent rains have improved the course conditions. I always enjoy this course. Lots of trouble, some easy to see and some not easy to see.
Thank you for the wonderful Five Star review of Leopard's Chase. You are correct, the recent rains were MUCH needed after nearly 60 days with only a trace amount of precipitation. Don’t waste your time
Can’t believe we saw guys taking pictures on the 18th fairway. I wouldn’t want anyone to know I was playing at that place.

Nice Course
Played this course with my dad today. We had an afternoon tee time and had the course to ourselves. Beautiful, Fun layout, and well maintained. Greens were in pristine but a little slow. Watch out for fire ants. Overall had a great time.
Lions chase
Overall it was a fun course to play. Well placed holes. The greens was slow. Think they had recently been punched. But I’d play it again for sure.

Very challenging course
Course was in great shape, staff was great. Will definitely play again!
Fantastic layout and course. The greens were slow but they were punched a few weeks ago. Overall happy with the round and the course! Good deal for this type of course too. Least favorite part about it was the pace of play in front of us on a nice hot day on the 4th!
