Much Improved-Happy to see
This course was always supposed to be the best of all the big cat courses, and the layout clearly proves that. I have played 3-4 times in the past, and was always disappointed by the slow green speeds. This was my first time on the new greens, and although they could still be a touch quicker, they are a major improvement and roll very smoothly. The course in general seemed to be in much better shape, especially in June which can be tough to do. I was a single and teed off first at 7:05 before the members and was done in 2.5 hours. Great value for $65 on a Saturday! Hope to see improvements continue and the conditions match the elite layout that they have.

Tourist round
Great round of golf, clear skies, 90 degrees, no rush and able to just enjoy and have a wonderful round of golf on vacation. Would definitely come back in the future.

Big Cats Rule
As always a pleasure to play Leopards. Great course in great condition. Greens were excellent and consistent. Staff is the best. Golfnow booked me at Tigers but they switched me quickly and paired me up with another single and we both enjoyed the round. Highly recommend the Big Cats.

Played this couse for the 1st time and cannot find any negatives. Definitely a shot makers course and the lack of homes surrounding it added to the beauty of its natural settings.. Not an easy course, so bring your A game. Will be playing there more often.

Ignorance about service animals
The day was fine right up until the end. Let me start by saying I travel everywhere with a 7 lb tea cup Yorkie that is trained and certified as a diabetic alert service dog. I’m parked in a handicapped parking spot. I finished the round with no problems and nobody left at the course except for the ignorant clubhouse guy and the cart guy. Clubhouse guy comes out to tell me no dogs are allowed on the course without asking if she was a service dog. I showed him the dogs service vest that I had taken off because it was more than 90 degrees. He Still pushed the point about no dogs allowed. I told him this service dog can go anywhere I go. Including his golf course as long his course allows the public to play. Then gets snippy with me because I didn’t pay a rider fee for my non-playing wife. As far as I’m concerned it is Not my job to do your job. I’ll pay if you ask me. If not, suck it. He ruined what would have been an otherwise nice day. Too many other golfing choices in the area to ever come back here.

It is our policy to welcome any guests with a certified service animal. We will definitely offer our employee some additional training in this regard. Many times, afternoon closing attendants are part-timers who are still learning, so we will make this a learning opportunity for him. Regarding the fee for a non-playing cart rider, that is typical of golf courses in our area and we have no way of knowing if a guest has a non-playing rider unless we are informed either in advance or at check-in. I mention this just for future reference when playing any course in our area, as many would have a similar policy. Again, we sincerely apologize that what sounds like an otherwise very enjoyable round on our course was tainted by this experience. We will definitely use this as an opportunity to learn and improve.
Great layout and friendly staff.
My wife and I played this course on a Monday. As nice as the course was, we were surprised at how few people were playing. It was great for us, as we finished quickly. Greens are newer and a little on the slow side, but overall, a great course to play.

Great Experience
I would definitely recommend this course you anyone looking to play in Myrtle Beach. Bill was awesome getting us checked in. The started was awesome and gave us a great overview. We wanted to replay at one of the other Big Cat courses. Jim in the Pro Shop went over and above to get us scheduled, directions etc.
Greens were rolling true and fast. Perfect sand in the track. We had two golfers play from the blues tees and two play from the white tees. Course was fair for both sets of tees.

Challenging layout; greens some of the best I’ve played. Will definitely go back.
Ice course bad direction on WAZE and google maps
Nice course to play good layout. Greens are new, good condition but slow. Directions took us to the other CAT courses so be careful when navigating. Played round in 3hr 45 min
