Leopard's Chase Golf Links at Ocean Ridge Plantation

Nice course overall, tee to green in really good condition for as dry its been and friendly staff, which we talked with frequently during the round. Would absolutely play again.

Not a big deal, but would have been a nice gesture to include range balls, small bag of about 20 was $5.

We were set to play as a foursome with two others, but they were the last two from a larger outing so we ended up as a twosome between a logjam of foursomes. So that unfortunately made for a 5.5 hour round. But we didn't have anywhere to be and plenty of beer so we had a good time. I fixed about a 100 pitch marks and sanded many untended divots, you can thank me by doing the same. Have fun you're not good enough to be mad about how you played,

Course was well taken care of. Greens rolled great and staff was very friendly. First time here and I'll be back to play it again!

I've played 2 of the other 'Big Cat" courses. They were both dismal conditions years ago. So I was hesitant to try Leopards Chase. I am so glad I went. From the moment the starters greeted me to the putting the cart back and the guy apologizing for the just over 5 hour round the staff couldn't be better. I forgot my driver and 3 wood at home so I moved up a box and hit irons all day.

The layout is wonderful. 4 holes that were very bland but for the most part the scenery and strategy are good. Loved hole 11, crossing two creeks on a part 5. Hole 14 with a smaller target area at the green. A couple holes where you drive in the sand. Very "myrtle beach-isc" including an alligator siting.

Fairways are little dry but the greens were impecable.

Either they start too many golfers or they’re all deathly slow. Almost 3 hours for 9 holes afternoon round.

Layout is great and greens were excellent but by the time we got to them we lost interest in putting

We drove in from Cleveland, Ohio and were looking to play 9 holes. The course was perfect for the price we paid.

This is the third time I've had the pleasure of playing Leopards Chase in the last 3 months, and this course never disappoints!! The layout is challenging, but fair, and the greens are in great shape!! Of all the big cat courses, this is the best by far!!! Thank you Golfnow for making the fees so affordable and mad props to the course superintendent and his/ her crew for their MUCH appreciated efforts!

In summary, if you can snag a tee time here, don't hesitate!!

This was our first time playing this course. I think if you played it a couple of times you would know the aiming points and distance to hazards, some are blind until you get there, there are also lots of of hazards you can see. The greens were excellent, we played on a Monday afternoon and not many people out so the pace of play was good.

Love the layout and pace of play. Nice mix of risk/reward and all of the par 3’s were interesting.

The staff at the club went above and beyond. They ran me out to the driving range to join my 4some when I arrived, I didn’t have to ask.

After rushing to leave post-round I left my billfold in the cart. When I called to see if they found it, they called back immediately. Jack Roberts went out of his way to express mail it to me the next day. And all of the cash was in the billfold. Saved me having to “fess-up” to my wife.

First time played the course and won't be the last. The layout is great, course is beautiful, the pace is a bit slow but consider it is a perfect weather in March, it is bearable. The condition is good for March, if the fairway could grow a bit fully, and the green could be rolled faster, it would be perfect.
