Awesome course- so beautiful, excellent layout, great shape. Staff is super friendly. Only complaint is they charged an extra $20 for a rider. My new favorite course in the area!

Another Gem
1st time playing this course.
Will i return ? yeah for sure.
Even though it is just over an hour drive
I absolutely will go back to Leopards chase.
From the minute i got there till the time i left the smile on my face was constant.
I am a 14 handicap at home. If i played here all the time not even sure i would be under 18.
Difficult course absolutely.
Fun to play absolutely.
Beautiful course absolutely.
I will return soon to try again .

Great condition for time of year
Great course conditions considering the time of year. Greens rolled true, course layout was nice-offered lots of variation. Would recommend to anyone and would be open to coming back to replay.

Fast greens
Course in great shape. Greens lightening fast. Bunkers wet with heavy sand. Very friendly staff. Lunch options, eh!

Leopards Chase
Loved the layout. Each hole presented its own unique challenge. We did encounter slow play on the back 9 which was the only downfall on the day.

What a difference a year makes!
This Tim Cates designed course has always had great bones, but the Bent grass greens were problematic for 10 years. Now the new Bermuda Greens are in and have matured. What a treat is was to play in mid December. The 2 pros I played with loved the design and consistency of the greens.. This course is a challenge as the bunkers off the tees make the driving area very tight and landing in one of the fairway traps will cost you a shot.
We played in 3.5 hours, enjoyed ourselves, had drinks afterwards and lamented on our lack of birdies on the tough par 4’s.. Leopard’s staff have done a wonderful job in restoring this course..

Leopards Chase
We played 8 holes at a good pace and then was stuck behind a very slow group-took almost 3 hours to complete the back 9. Course was beautiful with some slippery greens that ran true. Rain the day before limited us to cart path only with some casual water on the course.

Worst Round In A long Time
Just skip this one. It's not a good choice at all, and the fact that on a Saturday, there were very few players there speaks volumes. Yet the pace of play was very slow because they stacked up the few golfers who were playing all together, which could have been easily avoided. The guy at the counter checking in does not need to be in a position to deal with the public, but the kind lady operating the limited snack bar and the two gentlemen outside were very cordial and accommodating. This course has a very narrow layout, with water and sand everywhere, and the abundant sand is mainly packed and difficult to play as you would normally. With so many choices in the area, I would strongly suggest skipping this one.
Thank you for taking the time to review your winter round at Leopard's Chase. We truly appreciate your patronage and your feedback. Leopard's Chase is definitely one of the more challenging courses in our area, but also one of the most scenic and renowned layouts in the region as well. Mid-December is definitely the slowest time of the year for us and most people who do want to play typically schedule their tee times after it warms up, but also at a time that allows them to finish before dark, which leaves a relatively small window, so you often see these folks at the course at around the same time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I do understand the pace of play that day was typical for a long and challenging course like Leopard's Chase. We are happy you felt you were treated well by most of our staff, but apologize that you felt one of our staff members treated you unsatisfactorily. We will address this immediately with the individual indicated in your review. We are certainly disappointed to see we were only able to rate one star for your overall opinion of the course and will do everything we can to continue to improve our operation and offer each of our guests a fun and memorable golf experience.

Beautiful track.....from tee to green well kept....
Only down fall is lots of sand and water.
Nit a lot of miss area....but a fun challenging round for an intermediate golfer
