Leopard's Chase Golf Links at Ocean Ridge Plantation

Enjoyed with friend and staff explained all we needed. Back 9 has some wonderful holes. All holes are self contained and the par 3s are a good test of golf.

Course was in excellent conditions and greens are fast but true!

I had read and heard about this course and it was the first time playing. Admittedly, I played right after a tropical storm had passes through and this was the first day the course was open afterwards. Lots of water in low lying areas and it was cart path only. Naturally, balls hit into the greens stuck.

I will have to admit, in my mind when I heard about the waterfall 18th green, I was slightly disappointed, for I was expecting something bigger. This is not to say it wasn't nice.

I played Tiger Eye about a week beforehand and while enjoying both, I preferred Tigers Eye.

We played right after all the rain from tropical storm Debby. Course was in fantastic shape considering the amount of rain that had fallen. Only 3 holes were cart path only. Hats off to the whole team. Everyone was super friendly a gentleman loaded our clubs on to our carts gave us a few pointers about a few of the holes. We preceded up to the starter he gave some additional pointers. Carts were only 8 months old the greens were all redone a year ago or so they rolled so nice and true. Pin placements were challenging but fair. If you’re in the area and want to have a great experience playing a round I highly recommend. I will definitely be playing here again in the future.

The course is great shape. Fairways are in good condition so are the green. However the greens were a little slow, maybe from the recent rains they have not had a chance to cut them. We played Panthers run and this is the better course. Lovely layout and worth your $$.

First time playing this course . Very nice , a couple holes cart path only due to heavy rain . Greens in great condition.

Great layout; was stupid hot (humidity was ridiculous). Rain previously was also massive, so course was very wet. In fact, I was surprised it was even open. Greens were slow, but grass coverage with Bermuda grass was good. A little cutting and they’d be nice. Fairways needed mowing, but again, previous rain precluded that, understandable.

First off I give a round of applause for the grounds crew. This course was in amazing condition considering we just had 4 days of hurricane weather. Check in process is seamless,great on course signs,. Be sure to have a full phone battery there are picture opportunities everywhere I recommend early morning or later for the prime views. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Prices are good to

Played on a Tuesday late morning and didn’t see another golfer. Course was in good shape. There are plenty of bunkers. Staff was very friendly, providing tips on how to play the course. Staff stated this was the toughest of the 3 cat courses. I wish I had known that prior as I was playing a casual round with my son and would have chosen one of the other courses. That being said it was a fair test as long as you think yourself around the course. Only downside was they were mowing the greens and we had to wait on a few holes, at least 10 minutes on one hole. Most courses I’ve played would and let you play through.

My brother and I jumped on a Hot Deal for a 1:18pm start time after playing Tiger’s Eye in the morning.

While the drive into and clubhouse to Leopards Chase wasn’t anything to ride home about, the course conditions, friendly staff, and course conditions made up for it.

When we arrived we were greeted by “Wolfe” who filled up our carts with ice and spent about 10 min giving us the course layout and tips on scoring. Super nice guy!

Immediately we started and knew the course conditions were substantially better than Tiger’s Eye. The tee boxes, fairway, and greens were excellent.

The front 9 is fun and has a bunch of scenic water holes that you must score on if you want to have a good day. The back nine is full of longer par 4s, 3 par 5s and tight fairways with trouble on both sides.

The only thing I would recommend would be a USB charger for the cart and additional water jugs. The cart girl was nowhere to be found for 18 holes. (We were told she works 2 courses at once).

All in All great course for the money, wasn’t busy and would def play here again.

Absolutely loved playing Leopards Chase. The course is a beautiful layout that will challenge about every club in your bag. The greens were all in great condition, and for the most part, the tee boxes are in great shape as well. I will definitely be coming back to play this course on my next trip to Myrtle Beach.
