About
Meadowlark Golf Club in Huntington Beach is a player-friendly layout that is a popular choice amongst locals. Like most classically designed layouts, the course is short and tight but that also makes it easily walkable. The pin placements on the greens can be tricky and there are also some challenging water hazards that come into play on several holes. The golf course will test your short game skills but there are wide, player-friendly fairways that balance the trickier elements. Beware, though, numerous trees on the golf course make many of the tee shots tight and narrow. It is not an overly difficult layout but it is an enjoyable round that players of any skill level will enjoy. Meadowlark also offers affordable rates that make it doubly appealing.

First time
The course was a nice little course the patient play was good up until the 7th hole and then it got really slow all the way through the rest until 18… the greens were nice fairways were OK some of the tea boxes need a little help but overall the good course.

Enjoyable day of golf
My buddy and I joined another twosome and had a great time. Pace of play slowed on a number of holes but then picked up again so overall was not too bad. Meadowlark is an open course so somewhat forgiving but still provides a challenge

Made beautiful with the rain
This is a fairly easy muni course. We thought that the earlier rain has really made the course more green & enjoyable. Slowed down on the back 9. A fun course and the staff is super friendly. Snack bar and cocktail bar on site. Community mixers often.

back fo 2nd time
Been sometime since i played the course but really enjoyed it. The 2 men i played along with knew the course which helped a lot. looking forward to playing again

Great Shape and Excellent Pace
For the first time in my life I played a full 18 holes at this course in less than five hours, and on a Sunday afternoon no less. I wasn’t a fan of the prepaid online including a cart fee that I couldn’t change once I got to the course (I usually walk). However the course was in immaculate shape for a high volume muni course. Bunkers had plenty of soft sand and the greens were smooth and receptive.

I'll make sure our staff here is on the same page in allowing that refund to occur, just make sure to let the pro shop attendant know when checking in about the adjustment and we should be able to take care of you. Nice for the money
Course was in good condition we enjoyed it. Only con was the pace of play, it bottled up about 9th hole.

OC hacker
This a hackers paradise. Errant shots aren't punished to badly. Some risk reward shots and a few forced lay up reduce potentially higher scores. There is one green that could cause some undue stress if you dont hit a near perfect shot the pin location did take into account the mound they called a green to make it playable. Course and greens are in good condition. The staff was great.

Green are challenging
Played in 4:20. Greens are in good shape and challenging. Some tee boxes were on slopes, could have been more level Good pace of play
