Rolling Oaks is one of two championship courses at World Woods Golf Club. The layout offers something completely different from the renowned Pine Barrens course at the club, but it still offers the same amount of challenge and quality. The golf course is named after its landscape of rolling hills and forests of centuries old Oak trees draped with Spanish moss. Lush, rolling fairways lead to undulating greens that are protected by sharply defined, white sand bunkers. Water hazards come into play on three holes. The golf course has a traditional design but the dramatic elevation changes and picturesque landscape covered in azaleas, dogwoods, and magnolia trees really make it stand out. In addition to the two golf courses, World Woods also offers a nine-hole practice course and a circular, 20-acre driving range with target greens and practice bunkers.

This is me on one of the more difficult par 5's. If you play it and your a long ball, play it to the right fairway...You can make it...Lol.. Photo submitted by Robert5455343 on 11/16/2013

Great courses that requires major nongolf related maintenance improvements
Because of past storm damages, this facilty is a mere shell of its past splendor. The golf is still very good but the overall landscaping and clubhouse have fallen to disrepair. For the money, its a great value.
Could not play Rolling oaks, wet wold have had to cart path only. So we played Pine Barrens. , and it was in great shape.
A perfect afternoon
Fairway turf in beautiful condition. Recent heavy rains have yielded lush grass with no wet areas. A few traps that need attention post-rain and a couple that were let go during covid need weed removal and sand replenishment. Greens have largely recovered from the winter freeze with very few, small areas left requiring repair. Greens rolled well despite recent aeration. 2:05 tee time on a fairly hot weekday meant having the course to myself; was around 18 in under 3 hours. I did have a couple perplexing lost balls where you’d swear it’d be impossible, but the rough does hide balls very well - and there’s generous rough bracketing the greens. Overall one of the most enjoyable rounds I’ve played in years. Rolling Oaks is a real delight.
Beautiful Florida Course
Played the Rolling Oaks Course which was overall in decent condition. The greens were recently aerated which made putting a bit more difficult.
There are plenty of challenges for beginner and experienced golfers. Played 3 different tees with my group and each of us found plenty of opportunities to keep us amused and at time frustrated (in a good way!)
I would recommend this course, as it offers some elevation which isn’t that common in the area, along with beautiful grounds.
Great course
Semiwet conditions with cart path only made for very slow play.
review
What a beautiful course...a bit long for us "seniors" ( 5900 yds from the white tees )....but nice wide perfectly manicured fairways.....not too much water in play, but lots of sand to avoid....the greens just finished air rating and some needed extra attention...large undulating and fast greens.....
Rolling Oaks
Course was in great shape from tee to green. There was a few spots on the greens but pin placement kept you away from them for the most part.
Fantastic gem
Relax and enjoy a peaceful round.
Excellent day for Golf
It was a beautiful day and the course was in very good shape. The green were a little slow and had some work being done, but never affected any putts. Fairways and tee box were in great shape.
Great Day
Had a fun round. All employees were very helpful and friendly.
Ranger
So, I was having a great experience until the ranger came around several times harassing my group about the pace of play. We were in a foursome with a twosome behind us. He insisted that we were playing two slow and the group behind was complaining. We were playing at the pace you would assume a foursome would be playing at. The ranger killed the mood of the round.
Much improved
Greens were much better a little slow playable. Rest of course fine.
Picturesque
Will play again - rolling
A couple greens are recovering from winter freeze but all mostly in above average condition
Great layout! Fantastic fairways! Greens need work.
The course was beautiful! The fairways were in really good shape. A few of the greens were a little rough. They are having some trouble getting g their greens back in good condition. I would recommend this course now to anyone who plays on a budget as the rates are cheaper with the greens the way they are. I will be playing again once the greens are taken care of. Looking forward to it.
