At Red Rock Country Club, Arnold Palmer has created an escape from desert golf with a lush green course that forces golfers to think over their shots. As you're thinking, a waterfall could be crashing in the background. There are actually two Palmer courses here, but only The Arroyo is open for public play.
It measures in at 6,883 yards from the back tees and uses dramatic bunkering to set off its holes. The par 4s are particularly inventive, especially the 432-yard 4th. The par-3 seventh gives you great views of The Strip in the distance. The greens consistently run 10-11 on the Stimpmeter and the fairways are designed to funnel shots that are not overly wild back into decent lies.
"The Arroyo Course is what it is -- a playable course with stunning scenery and a smattering of decent golf holes," former TravelGolf.com writer Shane Sharp said. "It won't provide as memorable a round as Sin City's big-name resort courses, but the price is relative. If you're looking for a course to include in your annual Vegas rotation, Arroyo would be a nice addition, considering its conditioning and scenery."

Nice track
Great greens, the ball rolled nice all day, rough was rough which I like too, so all in all I would play this course again. The layout of the course runs thru the neighborhood and there are a lot of space between holes. Be careful of the numbering you start on 7
Amazing course with amazing staff.
Pace of play is great. The fairways and greens are always in good condition. Staff is as nice as Chik Filet staff.
A little wet
The greens tees were a little shaggy. Some of the fairways were really wet.
A++ course
This is a beautiful course with fantastic views. Nice open fairways for the most part as well. Staff is super friendly and helpful as well. My only average or below would be the club house pro shop. Very small inventory of merchandise. Definitely would play here again.
Always in great condition
We play here often. Course is always in great shape.
Will say the ruff is super thick which makes it difficult to play out of in the morning when it’s still wet but that’s my only complaint.
Greens are in excellent condition.
Practice facility is always great.

The greens were a little rough but not bad. Rest of course perfect condition.
Great course, but too slow
Really liked the course and layout, great condition for middle of June. Main issue was pace of play, took over 4.5hrs for a 7:20am tee off. Also $100 in June seems pricey
Great course to play with caveats
This is my second time playing the golf course. I’ve enjoyed it both times. My only critique is that the pace of play was really slow, and that even though the greens are fantastic, people playing the course are negligent in repairing ball marks. If people did that, the greens would be even more outstanding.
Great summer price
Super summer value . The greens need a little repair otherwise the course was in great shape. After 1 pm very few people on the course played in 3 1/2 hrs.

Nice course
Greens tee boxes fairways great shape. Roughed are a little deep fyi. Loved the course. Keep in mind vegas courses are not cheap.
Excellent facility
Great course condition. Challenging greens. Friendly and helpful staff. Only complaint is slow play. We waited to hit on nearly every hole. Took 5 hours to play 18. Still would play again.
