Arroyo Golf Club

About
At Red Rock Country Club, Arnold Palmer has created an escape from desert golf with a lush green course that forces golfers to think over their shots. As you're thinking, a waterfall could be crashing in the background. There are actually two Palmer courses here, but only The Arroyo is open for public play.
It measures in at 6,883 yards from the back tees and uses dramatic bunkering to set off its holes. The par 4s are particularly inventive, especially the 432-yard 4th. The par-3 seventh gives you great views of The Strip in the distance. The greens consistently run 10-11 on the Stimpmeter and the fairways are designed to funnel shots that are not overly wild back into decent lies.
"The Arroyo Course is what it is -- a playable course with stunning scenery and a smattering of decent golf holes," former TravelGolf.com writer Shane Sharp said. "It won't provide as memorable a round as Sin City's big-name resort courses, but the price is relative. If you're looking for a course to include in your annual Vegas rotation, Arroyo would be a nice addition, considering its conditioning and scenery."

Turn off the fan!
This course is an absolute must play! The only thing that made this course not very golf friendly was the wind! 50 and 60 mile an hour gust did not help the round at all, but under perfect conditions this is a definite must play. The layout was great customer service was excellent it really made you feel like you were at a resort or a big-time Country Club. Will definitely play again!
Really confusing layout
This course really meanders around the neighborhood. I don’t think you could possibly walk this course as there are really long roads and paths between sections of the golf course. Not ideal for a regular round as it adds a lot of time to travel between holes.
Good Not Great Course
I enjoyed Arroyo but if I was forced to pay full price, I don’t think I would play here again. The golf course had a decent layout but the tee boxes aren’t visually appealing with them looking dead. Pace of play was awful and the marshal refused to say anything to the guilty party. Took over 4 and a half hours to play a 3-3:30 hour course. Range is inconvenient as well due to it being way out of the way. Staff was friendly and the views were very good. 3.5/5 stars overall.
Pretty Desert Course Amongst Beautiful Homes
Great course! Fantastic Layout with a variety of tees and scenic views of nature and beautiful homes!
Great track!
First 6 holes were in great condition. Last 12 the greens were a bit like the surface of the moon due to all of the ball marks, but it could have been worse. Tee boxes need a lot of love, but the fairways and roughs were incredible!
Good Course
Good course. Can’t remember which hole on the back 9, but one of the greens was completely covered in geese poop. Other than that, course looked great.
Should be renamed "Snail trace"
Teed off 15 min late because they were behind. Finally teed off on #2 after 1 hour from starting. There were 3 groups on #2 teebox when we arrived. After 1.5 hours and only 2 holes in I left. No refund given unfortunately.
Arroyo
Some greens not rolled. A lot of bumps. A lot of divots on greens. A lot of bird poo on fairways and greens
Poor pace
Course is in good shape but if you can’t play at decent pace, it means nothing. No starter or Marshall.
5 plus hours
2 medium sized groups slowed the pace to a crawl with no marshall to help or pass along messages to the groups stuck behind.
Shouldn’t be at this quality of course
multiple holes are far apart. would not be a walkers course. the signage to get from place to place was not as good as should be. We had to turn around at least three times.
