Cypress Point Country Club
About
Cypress Point Country Club is conveniently located within minutes of the Norfolk International Airport and the Virginia Beach Town Center. Despite its accessibility, the golf course feels peacefully isolated, making it a great choice for golfers who are looking for the convenience of a city course with the pace and beauty of the countryside. It's a layout that is as challenging as it is scenic with strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and fairways. The occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course will challenge players of all skill levels but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. Beginners will still be able to enjoy a round at Cypress Point Country Club. Besides the course, the club is also popular for its practice facility, which has a driving range and chipping and putting greens.

Really nice course
While the grass was dormant it was still there. While the front is close to homes and roads it was a fun course to play. Really like the back much better the holes 1-9.
Good Course
For an early spring day with the grass still dormant it was a good course to play back was a bit of a challenge but a fun day.
Spring golf
Left the snow in western Virginia to warmer weather in VA Beach area. Fun course with good mix of long and short par 4’s. Bermuda grass still dormant but course still very playable
very good conditions for Feb.
Bunkers were excellent. Greens were quick and in good shape. Driving range was beat up, no grass, just dirt/mud. Good location for those visiting VA beach.
Fun day
Busy semi public/private course. Played after month of winter weather and course was very playable and good pace of play
Nice but bland.
Very welcoming staff and good practice areas.
Winter greens have nice speed to them with gentle undulations. Course conditions were good considering recent rain.
Carts are electric with best seats I’ve ever sat on in a golf cart.
Negatives are that most of the holes are not that memorable nor that challenging.
Par 3 17th hole is outstanding as a peninsula jutting out into the pond. Wish more holes were that scenic. Most of the holes are lined with houses with too little landscaping to hide them.
Pleasant experience and a good value, but doesn’t inspire me to play it again.
Great course great condition
i really like this course alot. it's fair and challenging on certain holes. i love the condition of the course. despite the wet weather recently. I will make this a regular go to course. I enjoyed myself and the people i've been paired with.
First time on this course
This course was nice but it felt like I was playing golf in a subdivision. Was glad there were other players in our group that new the course. Was very confusing to find your way around. Staff was friendly. Pace of play was a bit slow for my liking. Several walkers mixed in slowed those of us on carts way down.
48 dollars for December is ridiculous
Weather affected the course no doubt about that but your price for December at 48 dollars is just plain greedy. Tee boxes are hilly on 50 percent of tee boxes. Greens in decent shape but I just can’t get over the ridiculous price in winter.
Golf
I like the course. Very funny and average difficulty.
Great condition as usual
Great course condition, even in late November. Being a beautiful day the start time got a little delayed, pace of play wasn’t too bad. Things picked up after a few holes.
