Cypress Point Country Club is conveniently located within minutes of the Norfolk International Airport and the Virginia Beach Town Center. Despite its accessibility, the golf course feels peacefully isolated, making it a great choice for golfers who are looking for the convenience of a city course with the pace and beauty of the countryside. It's a layout that is as challenging as it is scenic with strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and fairways. The occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course will challenge players of all skill levels but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. Beginners will still be able to enjoy a round at Cypress Point Country Club. Besides the course, the club is also popular for its practice facility, which has a driving range and chipping and putting greens.

Best course for the money
Absolutley recommend to play, layout is challenging 3 different tee boxes too choose and can challenge your game, the green are true and the fairway is great shape. Highly recommend to play.
Best value in town
Great course, well maintained, easy to navigate. Starts where smooth no back ups, Marshall ironed out a back up we had for us around hole 7, and the cart girl had ice cold beer. Honestly was impressed and will be back to play again.
Nice course!
My first time playing this course and it's one of the nicest courses in the Virginia Beach area. I thought the layout was good, pace was good for a busy day and the condition of the course was pretty nice.
I'm not easy providing 5 star ratings, they would have to up it by having GPS carts, drink carts and better cart trails.
But overall its pretty nice and the greens are in excellent shape. I will definitely be back more often.
Excellent Course
This is my first time to play this course. Other than the slow pace of play, where I had to pass three flights (a single player, a group of 3, and a group 4), the course is inspiring. All throughout my play I was challenged and inspired by the course. The course conditions (greens, fairway, cart path) are excellent. This is a course that will not disappoint any player at all levels. I plan on playing this course frequently.
Nice course
Nice course, lots of homes and tight fairways. Number 11 green had golf balls hitting it from the driving range while I was putting.
Overrated Golf Course
Golf Adviser places this course as their #1 public course to play in Virginia Beach... wow, what a let down! The course was average... nothing spectacular. Greens were running very slow, although they seemed to be in good shape. I was first out in the morning and that may've had something to do with the greens speed, but even as the day warmed up, the greens were slooooow. Course condition was average as well. Nothing overly impressive about this golf course other than Golf Advisor's bloated rating.

Play Cypress Point
The course was quite enjoyable on a Monday.Played in 3hours 15 minutes. The greens rolled very nice.The bunkers also play quite nicely.
