Cypress Point Country Club is conveniently located within minutes of the Norfolk International Airport and the Virginia Beach Town Center. Despite its accessibility, the golf course feels peacefully isolated, making it a great choice for golfers who are looking for the convenience of a city course with the pace and beauty of the countryside. It's a layout that is as challenging as it is scenic with strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and fairways. The occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course will challenge players of all skill levels but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. Beginners will still be able to enjoy a round at Cypress Point Country Club. Besides the course, the club is also popular for its practice facility, which has a driving range and chipping and putting greens.

Well maintained
Had a ton of rain the night before and the course drained well. Cart path only and a played in just under 4 hours. Greens were in good shape with no burnt patches in the fairway either. Second time I’ve played this course while vacationing in Virginia and it was well worth the money.
Great Value for your $$
I played at Cypress Point for the first time on June 29. Teed off on #1 by myself and was joined on #2 by a fine young member of the United States Navy. Great layout, especially for high-handicappers like me. Very fair. Finished in less than 4 hours despite having a foursome in front. Pro-shop staff are very friendly (as they should be since we are paying to play after all). Green fee is very reasonable especially compared to what I have to pay in Northern VA. Would definitely recommend this course.

We live Cypress Point. One of my favorites In Va Beach , norfolk area. The course was in incredible condition And can’t wait to play it again.

Front nine moved quickly-back nine stalled at 11th hole
Cypress Point
First time playing this course and I would play again. Definitely a fun layout and generally good conditions. The greens were super soft and slow on the wet day I played but they were all consistent with healthy grass. Tee box on 9 is in need of some love and it was a struggle to find flat ground on a few other tee boxes.
Beautiful Course!
Challenging, but fun course. I thoroughly enjoyed the round, full range and facilities. I'll be back for sure.
Great Conditions
Best conditions I have seen in Virginia Beach, I would definitely play here again.
Today's Round
Ended up behind a foursome with no course etiquette-no understanding of speed of play-had to skip a hole and go around them.
Birthday play
Great time with friends.
Food options were limited.
No plant-based options.
Veggie burgers or hotdogs would be nice.
Course in great shape-very busy but round took right on 4 hours so no complaints there
Very challenging
Very good for golf practice hitting straight because if golf ball goes to your left or right, you will hit the houses
The course had a nice flow. Only had to wait until hole 14
Staff was extremely friendly and appreciated the business. Greeting everyone that entered the pro shop with a smile. Carts are some of the best in Virginia. Comfortable seating.
