Cypress Point Country Club is conveniently located within minutes of the Norfolk International Airport and the Virginia Beach Town Center. Despite its accessibility, the golf course feels peacefully isolated, making it a great choice for golfers who are looking for the convenience of a city course with the pace and beauty of the countryside. It's a layout that is as challenging as it is scenic with strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and fairways. The occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course will challenge players of all skill levels but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. Beginners will still be able to enjoy a round at Cypress Point Country Club. Besides the course, the club is also popular for its practice facility, which has a driving range and chipping and putting greens.

One of the best courses in Hampton Roads
Great course, well maintained, greens excellent and true
Good greens
Course has very good greens. Plays longer than the Scorecard says. No roll in the fairways. I was a single played through 4 groups which was nice. Some of the tee boxes could use a little work. Last 3 holes are best on course. Good value through Golf Now.
Cypress
A little long for Seniors. Greens were truly excellent.
Nicely done
I played this course for the first time. I was in great shape. Tee to green and bunkers. I have noticed many courses letting bunkers go to save money, but not here. Demanding course. If you want to score low you will have to work the ball on a few holes. Greens held well. I will be back
Nice course very well manicured.
Had a fivesome ahead of me for the back nine. Reduced very significantly the pace of play...under rain.
Great Value
Beautiful, well maintained course. Greens roll nicely. Only complaint I had was that it was a little tight with houses surrounding every hole besides the par 3s. You'd better be good off the tee or you're in for a bad day.
Nice Course, great value
We played at 8 AM on a very overcast and windy day. I think the weather discouraged many others from playing so we were able to sail around the course. About the 14th hole we caught up to a foursome, which slowed us down a little. Still we finished in a little over three hours.
I had great expectations for the course based on other reviews and was slightly disappointed in the layout. Perhaps I was influenced by the weather or that my partner wasn't playing particularly well, but I didn't find the course very memorable. I didn't care for the houses being so close to the course--- I hope they have plexiglass windows because I have never seen one with houses so close. Nevertheless, I enjoyed playing it, and for the price, it was a great value.
Course was in excellent condition. Pace of play was outstanding. I will be recommending to the group of 20 that I normally play with that we include this course on our schedule immediately.

As usual course was in excellent shape. Greens running true and relatively fast. Played in just under four hours with the 8:00 time.
