Cypress Point Country Club is conveniently located within minutes of the Norfolk International Airport and the Virginia Beach Town Center. Despite its accessibility, the golf course feels peacefully isolated, making it a great choice for golfers who are looking for the convenience of a city course with the pace and beauty of the countryside. It's a layout that is as challenging as it is scenic with strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and fairways. The occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course will challenge players of all skill levels but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. Beginners will still be able to enjoy a round at Cypress Point Country Club. Besides the course, the club is also popular for its practice facility, which has a driving range and chipping and putting greens.

Excellent layout for a community course. Greens rolled true.
I would go back in a heart beat. Nice fairways with moderate height rough.
Beautiful course
My first time playing Cypress Point CC and I could not be more impressed. The grounds were wonderfully maintained, the buildings were spotless and the staff was very friendly.
To the course. A small bucket of balls was so overflowing I had to grab a large bucket. Very good putting green, in identical conditions to the ones out on the course (not always the case some places). And a very nice layout for 18 holes in this community CC. Pristine conditions in the fairways and even the rough was well manicured. Bunkers were filled with clean sand and freshly raked. The greens were receptive leaving ball marks. But, it appeared that most players here take the time to make repairs. And the greens ran true all day. I will most certainly be back.
Rather boring course.
Conditions were acceptable, the fairways were good, tee boxes and greens need some tender loving care! Greens were a bit shaggy even though they were cut
This course is very player friendly and a good mix of holes for those looking for some risk reward holes.
This course is very player friendly, in excellent condition and offers the opportunity to use every club in your bag. I has a good mix of reachable and non-reachable par 5's and depending on which set of T's you choose to play can be a good but fair challenge.
Well worth the visit
Course is a blend of challenge and forgiveness. After beating you up on 6 and 7 you get a nice break with a playable par five and three but 10 comes around to remind you this is no pushover.
Course conditions were great from tee to green.
