Golfer Reviews
Tough first holes but worth it
First holes were tough. You need to really look at the course and place your shots. Accuracy is a must. After the first holes it is a little more fair but beware, it is a tricky course. Really enjoyed playing it. Conditions were great. Worth the price.
consistently average
course was in OK shape. greens were a bit slow and fairways OK. they could make this course better with a little more effort. layout is interesting and there are some fun holes to play. good course to include in a golf trip to the area. would recommend playing.
good course to kick off a golf trip
course was in good shape. fairways were good. greens were a little slow but not too bad. overall layout not bad. some interesting holes. good course to start with on a golf trip. would recommend playing.
Good Mesquite Golf Course
Not the monster that Wolf Creek is but the Palmer course provides a very good challenge with elevations and scenery. Some areas of the course have housing nearby which can be intrusive. Course was in nice shape but the greens were the slowest of the 5 courses we played....pretty shaggy/velcro. A good play in the Mesquite area. A shade below 4 stars - hadn't played it in several years.....but the pace of play was downright excruciating - almost 6 hours....
pAlmeria fun
first time playing this course and first time in Mesquite. great rate on golfNow paired up with a couple and another single and a very enjoyable round of golf. Greens were fast tournament was just played a few days before but pretty easy to score well only complaint lots of condos and homes along the course very few holes had an isolated feel but overall but great course in great condition
Gorgeous, and Challenging without being too hard
We hit both the driving range and the Canyons course here. The large buckets of balls at the driving range are enormous. Much larger than we expected.
The Canyons course is very pretty. In general it's a bit more challenging and being a residential course, and not particularly forgiving miss-hit shots. Many homes back onto some narrow-ish fairways. There are Environmental reserves on several holes, where you can't retrieve your ball, and some very sneakily placed water hazards. Be sure to pack more balls than you think you'd need.
I found the course to be very picturesque. I wanted to golf here ever since we saw the Oasis Courses featured on Big Break Mesquite. I golfed with my spouse, we were both a bit rusty, not having golfed in a few months.
Love the Back 9
Pace was good, challenges on the back 9 (elevated Ts). Fun course on the back, boring on the front.
loved this course
We golfed at the Palmer with our friends and enjoyed the course and day!
Canyons - great the average golfer
The course was BEAUTIFUL. Wide fairways make the course perfect for those that have pesky fades or pulls. The elevation change throughout the course, and on the fairways is what challenges the golfer. Be prepared to adjust yoru swing (or clean the mud/grass off of your clubs). All in all it is just hard enough for the good golfer, and just easy enough for a golfer that isn't so good (such as myself). Greens were perfect, not too fast, smooth roll, just enough topography to have me triple putt a bunch.
Another good day on the links
Tee off after noon, reduced rates and fast play. The palmer course is in great shape, fast greens makes for a delicate touch. Great views makes for even a better round.
greens a little long due to over-seed status
Beautiful course.. plenty of lush green fairways...pay attention & find them from the tee.....greens held well, but putts were slow accordingly... not a problem for us.
Oasis Canyon Course
The course is very playable for both men and women. Not many blind shots and ample size fairways. I would play this course again, but only with a coupon of special. The standard rate for the round was over $ 125.00 per player
Really fun to play with new people attracts great clientele
Premium quality course booking was very simple and staff was right on the program
Love this cource
Our favorite course in mesquite. The holes are fun and the canyons are fun to experience.
Great golf course
Very hilly, but if you played the appropriate tees, not too difficult. Overseeded 5 wks before, but was coming along very nicely. We were a twosome behind 2 foursomes, so a bit slow. Excellent views and would certainly play again.
Wonderful Course
Golf Now prices make this top course financially available to me. Course is in great shape with a variety of challenging holes.
great time
Wonderful course, in great shape in spite of the recent flooding.staff was great, efficient and friendly
