About
Nestled at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains, Indian Canyons Golf Resort offers two championship courses with stunning views. The two golf courses, North and South, have completely different layouts but they are both sheltered from the wind thanks to the surrounding mountains. The South Course is the shorter of the two, making it the more player-friendly course. That is not to say it is not a challenge though. The rolling fairways are framed by contoured mounding and four expansive lakes come into play on six holes. The par 5s are particularly memorable. There are also well over 1,300 palm trees throughout the golf course, which includes hundreds of Washingtonia filifera palms. These trees are native to the Agua Caliente Tribe and an important part of their history.

Desert Gem
Indian Canyon South may be in the desert but its a fantastic park like setting. The course albeit short lives up to every great review and should be included in ANY Palm Springs golf trip. The conditions were awesome from Tee to green and even the dormant Bermuda rough played great. If you play this course a couple times you were learn how to take it low. The greens rolled about 11 and very true. They have can have sneaky breaks so pay attention and review from as many sides as possible when not sure. The only knock is that people don’t fix their ball marks and its a shame because the greens are so good.
I played from the blue tees but could easily handled the tips.
I will definitely be back to play again!
Nice beautiful course
This is a nice course in beautiful mountain setting. It is not as nice as The Classic Club or PGA West courses, but nice enjoyable course in good condition. It will be nice if they can add GPS and towels for the price we paid.
Accurate reviews
Based on reviews I’ve been wanting to play this course. Really enjoyed it. Challenging but not too penal, good layout, course condition good, nice greens. Thought it was a bit overpriced for a twilight round.

Probably my favorite course. Long drive Through Palm Springs but with it,

Interesting & scenic layout. We played the white tees on front nine and gold tees on back. Greens were in very nice condition. Will book again next year.
Great course!
Great in every respect other than slower than expected greens. The greens looked great but played a lot slower.
Public Nice
We played the South Course and for a public course this was pretty nice! They keep it in pretty good shape for all the play it gets. The pace can be a little slow, but it could be due to the 5 par 3's and 5 par 5's. If they would make it all foursomes would help also. Still a good public course
Palm Springs
Great course it did back up on the back nine but play was good. Great pictures on course.
The course was the best we played in the area
Course conditions were perfect. Greens and fairways were significantly better than other public courses we played in the area. A truly great playing experience.
Nice "Old School" Desert Course
The South course at Indian Canyons is a nice "old school" desert golf course that is challenging with great mountain views. Staff was very nice and pace of play was excellent.
Fun course
The course provided some challenges while still being fun. We had lunch on the patio before playing. Everything was delicious and the staff good.
I'll be back!
