Indian Canyons Golf Resort - South Course

We have played this course at least once on every trip to the Palm Springs area over the last 10 years or so and it never disappoints. The course is always well manicured, scenic and has a certain calm feeling that comes with a 50 year history of solid course management. Even at $132, the course is a solid value, when compared to some of the resort courses here who charge $200 plus.

Great course, well laid out. Tremendous views from every hole. Definitely will be back.

On the backside gusting winds came down off the mountains like nothing I’ve ever experienced challenging your stance. I finished the round because I wanted to play the final downwind holes after fighting into the upwind holes. Nothing like getting home on a par 5 in 2 shots with a drive and iron. Will play there again with milder conditions as this was a rare event.

Everyone and everything about the place is wonderful. I do have two suggestions: 1. Leave an access to the club house restrooms open for the last golfers to use before leaving the resort. I had a 45 min drive after and was praying for no traffic the entire drive

Complimentary golf balls with logo in the cart would b nice too

You can’t control the weather so aside from the above all was perfect.

The staff we encountered before the round was very friendly and helpful.

The course was in great shape. It is a fair test for all levels of golfers.

It was an excellent value, and I would definitely play the course again.

Indian Canyons is a terrific golf course, especially the South course. Staff are warm, friendly and helpful.

Great course but we believe the slope rating is a bit low. Lots of challenging holes. Playing it again this coming week.

Friendliest staff in town. Every single staff member we had contact with was wonderful.

Spectacular day in the sun. Course is in fabulous shape. Great starter and paired with a wonderful Canadian couple. Birdies and laughter a plenty.

Indian Canyon South may be in the desert but its a fantastic park like setting. The course albeit short lives up to every great review and should be included in ANY Palm Springs golf trip. The conditions were awesome from Tee to green and even the dormant Bermuda rough played great. If you play this course a couple times you were learn how to take it low. The greens rolled about 11 and very true. They have can have sneaky breaks so pay attention and review from as many sides as possible when not sure. The only knock is that people don’t fix their ball marks and its a shame because the greens are so good.

I played from the blue tees but could easily handled the tips.

I will definitely be back to play again!

This is a nice course in beautiful mountain setting. It is not as nice as The Classic Club or PGA West courses, but nice enjoyable course in good condition. It will be nice if they can add GPS and towels for the price we paid.
