Nestled at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains, Indian Canyons Golf Resort offers two championship courses with stunning views. The two golf courses, North and South, have completely different layouts but they are both sheltered from the wind thanks to the surrounding mountains. The South Course is the shorter of the two, making it the more player-friendly course. That is not to say it is not a challenge though. The rolling fairways are framed by contoured mounding and four expansive lakes come into play on six holes. The par 5s are particularly memorable. There are also well over 1,300 palm trees throughout the golf course, which includes hundreds of Washingtonia filifera palms. These trees are native to the Agua Caliente Tribe and an important part of their history.

Where’s the restroom???

Everyone and everything about the place is wonderful. I do have two suggestions: 1. Leave an access to the club house restrooms open for the last golfers to use before leaving the resort. I had a 45 min drive after and was praying for no traffic the entire drive

Complimentary golf balls with logo in the cart would b nice too

You can’t control the weather so aside from the above all was perfect.

Desert Gem

Indian Canyon South may be in the desert but its a fantastic park like setting. The course albeit short lives up to every great review and should be included in ANY Palm Springs golf trip. The conditions were awesome from Tee to green and even the dormant Bermuda rough played great. If you play this course a couple times you were learn how to take it low. The greens rolled about 11 and very true. They have can have sneaky breaks so pay attention and review from as many sides as possible when not sure. The only knock is that people don’t fix their ball marks and its a shame because the greens are so good.

I played from the blue tees but could easily handled the tips.

I will definitely be back to play again!

Nice beautiful course

This is a nice course in beautiful mountain setting. It is not as nice as The Classic Club or PGA West courses, but nice enjoyable course in good condition. It will be nice if they can add GPS and towels for the price we paid.
