About
Nestled at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains, Indian Canyons Golf Resort offers two championship courses with stunning views. The two golf courses, North and South, have completely different layouts but they are both sheltered from the wind thanks to the surrounding mountains. The South Course is the shorter of the two, making it the more player-friendly course. That is not to say it is not a challenge though. The rolling fairways are framed by contoured mounding and four expansive lakes come into play on six holes. The par 5s are particularly memorable. There are also well over 1,300 palm trees throughout the golf course, which includes hundreds of Washingtonia filifera palms. These trees are native to the Agua Caliente Tribe and an important part of their history.

Indian Canyon South is one of the deserts best!
Great layout with several distinctive golf holes. Course was in great condition except the greens were a little bumpy. Perhaps overseeding is slow to come in. We expected to finish before the forecasted rain but it came early and we got soaked. Still we had a great round of golf.
#1 for a reason!
This course has a very consistent theme: Rows and groves of mature palm trees, generous fairways, strategically placed bunkers and pure greens. Conditions were absolutely immaculate, POP was fantastic, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I can see why this course is consistently voted #1 in the valley, it certainly became one of my favorites instantly!
Great scenery
That course is absolutely beautiful, the greens were slow and bumpy. But it’s so pretty out there, we will definitely go back.
Slow greens
A nice course but the greens are super slow you have to whack your putter. So it made it less pleasant. I don’t mind cart path only and pace of play was decent.
Slow play
We played this course on Wednesday in 3 hrs 25 mins. On Friday there was a foursome to group ahead that was at least 3 holes behind. We had to wait on every hole to tee off and hit 2nd shots. Took us over 5 hrs to finish the round.
Beautiful course
This is a great golf course. It has recently opened free over seeding, so it is cart path only. This makes for a slower round, but it is still worth playing. The greens are slow, due to the over seeding as well. Overall, it is a great course with a nice layout, some forgiving holes and some challenging holes. I'm really glad I played here .
Recommended
The five stars speak for themselves. Only disappointment was cart path only.
Pace of play very slow and no Marshall
Very disappointing, have played the course consistently for 15 years and management has deteriorated. Shared feedback on pace of play and no one was really that concerned with a 4:45 round.
Love this beautiful course
Haven't played here since last season, but only because I wasn't here. Such a beautiful place. Reseeding currently restricted carts to the path, but that should be ovrr soon. I look forward to playing here again very soon.
