About
Nestled at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains, Indian Canyons Golf Resort offers two championship courses with stunning views. The two golf courses, North and South, have completely different layouts but they are both sheltered from the wind thanks to the surrounding mountains. The South Course is the shorter of the two, making it the more player-friendly course. That is not to say it is not a challenge though. The rolling fairways are framed by contoured mounding and four expansive lakes come into play on six holes. The par 5s are particularly memorable. There are also well over 1,300 palm trees throughout the golf course, which includes hundreds of Washingtonia filifera palms. These trees are native to the Agua Caliente Tribe and an important part of their history.

Beautiful day, beautiful scenery! Love the course. Can’t play every week but like to bring friends when they come to town

Nice course green we’re good and the bunkers well maintained. Friendly staff and very good cart service in the course.
Loved the Course
We had one of those rounds every golfer looks forward to playing. An 11:20 tee time and no one in front of us and no one behind us. Played with a delightful couple and finished in less than four hours. We will be back! A beautiful course.
Fun Course to Play
Second time I played this course this week. Pro Shop Staff, starter, marshal and grounds crew team was fantastic. Friendly and helpful. Course was in great condition.
Challenging for all type of golfers and the scenery around the track is awesome.
A must play.
First experience with IC South
I’m a resident of La Quinta so I tend to stay in that area. However I found Indian Canyons South worth the drive. It’s a nice track and the scenic beauty of the mountains was wonderful. We will be back.

Great day as usual. Generous fairways yet challenging green complexes makes this a joy. No houses on course a rarity in the valley. Great staff.
first time
First round at IC South. Course conditions were good for late September, can't wait to play it in season. Arrived as a single and they let me out alone as a single - amazing! Played thru 3 other groups en route to a 3 hr and 15 min round!
