About
Nestled at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains, Indian Canyons Golf Resort offers two championship courses with stunning views. The two golf courses, North and South, have completely different layouts but they are both sheltered from the wind thanks to the surrounding mountains. The South Course is the shorter of the two, making it the more player-friendly course. That is not to say it is not a challenge though. The rolling fairways are framed by contoured mounding and four expansive lakes come into play on six holes. The par 5s are particularly memorable. There are also well over 1,300 palm trees throughout the golf course, which includes hundreds of Washingtonia filifera palms. These trees are native to the Agua Caliente Tribe and an important part of their history.

Indian Canyon South
Course is in great shape. Greens are in super shape (except #16), and overall experience was great. Would definitely recommend and plan to play again soon.
Beautiful early morning desert golf
Indian Canyon South Course was in excellent condition and I thoroughly enjoyed my early morning desert golf. With temperatures reaching 107 in the afternoon, it was very pleasant teeing off at 6:40 AM
Excellent condition
For mid august the conditions were excellent. Tee boxes a little used but fairways and greens played great. Ice cold water every third hole…. Perfect. Price was right, I’d play again in a heartbeat!
This course has nice fairways
we had a 3-some at 7;50AM. Pace was good, but weather was a little hot (105). Course is in good shape, nice green fairways & greens. Staff were very friendly. Only downside was the bar & grill was closed . I'll definitely return to play another round in the future.
Nice time
Greens a bit rough after conditioning (some still a little sandy) but an enjoyable round.
Probably the best golf course in Palm Springs.
I’ve played a few courses here and I think it’s the best. Nice layout. Great condition. Friendly staff.
Course was in great condition. All staff encounters wer positive and helpful. Greens punched a couple weeks ago so they were on the slow side.
Greens in poor condition due to aeration. Way too much sand. Cost should be much.l lower until greens are restored!
Punched greens
This course usually is in good shape, but not on Sunday. Greens were recently punched and basically unplayable. Lots of dead areas in the fairways as well. I'm sure that it will be back to good condition in a few weeks, but I won't be thinking of playing there any time soon.

Excellent course and happy to play it again! I will certainly play it every time I'm in the area and will highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to play a course that is well maintained and has a friendly staff!
Not Ready For Play
The front 9 was not open for play, the greens had huge punch holes and were heavily sanded. I had not been made aware of these conditions until just before I was sent out to play. Very disappointing.
South Course
Great facility, great staff. The greens were aerated, but still playable. Great value for the price
