Indian Canyons Golf Resort - South Course

Played this course on opening day after annual residing and it was stellar. Perfect fairways, greens and conditions. I've played here for 15 years while visiting Palm Springs and it is one of my favorites. Staff is always friendly, conditions good and a pleasure to play.

Indian Canyons South has always been a wonderful golf tract. Great combination of doglegs, water and desert carries, and fairly fast greens. Like the North Course even better!

All was well despite the lack of services and a pro shop due to the pandemic. An interesting layout. The turf needs attention, which should be solved as it is prepared for winter traffic.

We drove from Phoenix for a friend's birthday to play this course. Upon arriving the guy checking us in was polite and helpful but told us we had to share carts. As we get to the first tee the starter was rude and asked if my wife payed to ride i informed him that the man at the check in did not charge us because I am a veteran and he says " That's bs you must have snuck her on" right infront of other guest. He then made me go back and pay $25 to have her just ride along with me. Then as we finish the first hole we noticed that the 3 groups ahead of us were all riding by themselves on carts and the 2 groups behind us were also not sharing carts. I took offense to this because we were forced to share a cart and when I brought it up they just sorry and offered no excuse. The pace of play was bad staff were rude as a 16 year marine corps vet I would have expected better treatment

This is the best golf Course for the value. I know of no other golf course where you Can rent a cart and play 18 holes for $50.00. And the course was In Great condition.

My wife and I have played this course several times when vacationing here since 2004. Always enjoy the course. Great layout, and tees to fit every players game. Highly recommend!

We love this course and always play it when in the desert.

Unfortunately this time the greens needed some work (Dry and dead ) around the fringes on all of them.

Played on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings and pace of play was slow with no marshals except for starter. Afternoon re- play was great pace since it was 109 deg :) No replay discount was given.

Restaurant is closed (COVID) so we had to leave the course between replays.

Usually always give this course full 5 stars, but because of the greens, the pace of play, closed restaurant, also no replay discount best i can do is a 4. The team there is always top notch though!

Will play again as I know they will get it together after reseeding.

Course was in good condition and caught up with foursome that let me pass ... no issues, friendly people on and off course.. will return for sure

Really liked this course. Fairways quite often had a bowl shape that made playing the sides fun. Fairways were also wide enough to keep out of extreme trouble, and it was nice to see palm trees in their natural foliage. Not a ton of water on the front nine, but a bit on the back although caution will help you navigate the water.

Greens were large, and had enough undulation to make it interesting to read.

It’s a mature course, but it was really cool to know That you are walking the same fairways thatSinatra, Martin, Hope and Eisenhower played.

Loved this course and I will be back.

First time playing and had it’s challenges but not extreme. Greens and fairways in good shape considering our heat waves this year
