Nestled at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains, Indian Canyons Golf Resort offers two championship courses with stunning views. The two golf courses, North and South, have completely different layouts but they are both sheltered from the wind thanks to the surrounding mountains. The South Course is the shorter of the two, making it the more player-friendly course. That is not to say it is not a challenge though. The rolling fairways are framed by contoured mounding and four expansive lakes come into play on six holes. The par 5s are particularly memorable. There are also well over 1,300 palm trees throughout the golf course, which includes hundreds of Washingtonia filifera palms. These trees are native to the Agua Caliente Tribe and an important part of their history.

Nice challenging course

First time playing here, definitely going back. Nice challenging course with some long par 3 holes. Greens were is good shape for summertime play. Worth the price. Clubhouse food and ambiance was well worth the stay along with friendly staff.

One of my favorites for over 15 years

Great layout, not too tough, but fun. Good place for breakfast and post round on patio (except during summer)

One of the Best Courses in the Palm Springs Metro Area

The only reason this course did not get 5 stars is that the greens were not in the shape I would expect for the price. They were slow and splotchy. Otherwise the course was in pristine shape and the layout is awesome.

Fun course with open fairways and smooth greens

We played mid morning on a hot day but the course was in such great shape and so playable that we zipped along. Particularly enjoyable course for women .Not too punishing but still rewarded good shots. Would definitely play again. Also had a delicious lunch at the clubhouse after the round.

Nice round at Indian Canyons

Played Indian Canyons South as a part of a group weekend outing. The course was in good condition, especially for June. The layout was mostly flat with some good three pars. There is room to miss off the tee as fairways tend to parallel each other. Also, there is just enough water to keep it interesting. The course is right up against the mountains, so the scenery is impressive.

The staff, clubhouse and restaurant are all very nice. The starter gave us plenty of information (especially where the rattlesnakes tend to hang out)!

This place is worth a try if you are in the Palm Springs area.

But Don't You Go

Talked my wife into playing there on our anniversary.

Greeted nicely by a guy out front. Walked into clubhouse same warm greeting. Walked into restaurant several employees greeted me with smiles and good morning. Marshalls gave us cold waters and checked on us frequently. Told us group in front of us would let us play through after next hole.

Course great. Staff even better.

One oddly placed par three??

Great time after a rough start.

Great, very fun course. Very well maintained. Only two gripes: 1. Checked in, hit a few balls, 5 mins til tee time and the starter then forces me and the other single I was paired with to pay extra to be single riders. Couldn’t pay after the round, had to do it before we teed off. Pretty frustrating way to start your day especially because it wasn’t mentioned in the pro shop. 2. Rakes are placed on your cart for you to take to bunkers and take them after you are done instead of having rakes at every bunker.

All and all I will 100% play again, it was just a pretty frustrating way to start my round.

Really nice course.

Course is not crowded duri g the week maybe do to heat. Couse well maintained and watered. Greens about 9 or 10 on stemp meter but roll very good. Fairways in great shape. Some narrow holes and some pretty wide open. Some really good par 3s long. Couple short ones too. All in all nice course in the mountains.
