About
Nestled at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains, Indian Canyons Golf Resort offers two championship courses with stunning views. The two golf courses, North and South, have completely different layouts but they are both sheltered from the wind thanks to the surrounding mountains. The South Course is the shorter of the two, making it the more player-friendly course. That is not to say it is not a challenge though. The rolling fairways are framed by contoured mounding and four expansive lakes come into play on six holes. The par 5s are particularly memorable. There are also well over 1,300 palm trees throughout the golf course, which includes hundreds of Washingtonia filifera palms. These trees are native to the Agua Caliente Tribe and an important part of their history.

A Palm Springs gem
I come out to Palm Springs every year for a week and manage to play Indian Canyons South two or three times each visit. The course is spectacular, the holes are fun and challenging, and the staff his helpful and friendly. The greens had been aerated but it was still a remarkable experience, and it's always a thrill to par the beautiful 9th hole. I'd play this course every day if I could.
Great Course all around
Fun, great pace, course conditions were outstanding, and very friendly staff.
Best Overall course
This course is in outstanding shape. It is fairly forgiving as well, and the greens are excellent. It was the best course we played in Palm Springs in the summer, highly recommended.

Great course, friendly staff and spectacular views...
I golfed with my son and we both had a great time. The course to include the range and practice greens are well maintained and in great condition especially for this time of year. Doesn't look like too much needs to be done before season time. The course design and location are very nice with spectacular views. Everything from check-in to check-out were perfect. The staff, to include the course Marshall were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely play again and refer friends and family golfers.
Beautiful and challenging course
This course is well maintained and the staff is super friendly. Play was really fluid until we made a he turn and caught a bunch of foursomes that were very slow. It was starting to warm up and waiting on every shot was annoying but there is a lot of shade available all over the course. Course as surprisingly green and greens were in good shape and challenging. I would recommend this course highly.
Beautiful course
Indian canyon resort south golf course is a well manicured course with a nice layout. Views of the canyon are nice to look at. Mostly wind protected. The greens are beautiful and running at a nice pace, probably 10. Nice staff and a pleasant place to have lunch and cool off after your round.
