Lone Tree Golf Club

We had a wonderful experience! The greens, especially, were in superb shape even though transitioning to Bermuda grass. Putts were consistent speed (quick!) and rolled true. Fairways, bunkers, tees all very good. We may have just been lucky, but pace of play was as good as it gets (3 hours)). The layout is very flat, but made challenging by well-placed bunkers and a few lakes. Overall, we were very pleased and will definitely come back.

Easy to find, easy check in, water buckets for towels, sand bottles on carts , newer carts with really nice seats, water on course for us, ice chests on carts, tees sort of beat, fairways need lots of care, bunkers with minimal sand, greens putt nice, roughs spotty, played in under 4, for the money they have charged you to play this course should be in pristine shape and it is not, on course restrooms need some care, only worth the money when the prices come down

Ten and eleven were backed up. Golfers let us go by and play #12. After #18 we were going to go back and play 10 and 11 only.

A very Rude employee, with a clip board, drove past my two playing partners and drove up to me. He yelled at me saying “What do you think you’re doing? I explained what we were doing. He yelled at me saying that he was going to charge me for two extra holes.

He drove past my playing partners, who were Caucasian , and drove up to me with a mad attitude. I felt that he came to me because I am Hispanic. This gentleman was heavy set wearing a blue golf shirt. He gave me the impression that he was a manager.

We had a nice day playing because the pace was excellent. But I'm kinda sad that this course, for whatever reason, just isn't up to par compared with similar courses in the east valley. The greens were pretty good but all else was lacking. And I'm not the first person who's experienced this in the last year. This course deserves better.

Easy to find, easy check in, carts with sand and nice soft seats, water bucket for towels, water for us on course, bag boys need to load front carts first, cuz you get pinned in in the back, nice to have yellow tees, tees sort of hammered, fairways in need of lots of care, roughs not too bad, bunkers at least have some sand, green’s don’t always look so great but putt pretty well, prices finally down some, played in 3 1/2, ok place to play, but in my opinion it is time to put some of the money they charge into much needed care of this course

Nice course, fairway needs some love. The greens are in very good condition and roll very well.

A little too pricey for the quality of the course

I always enjoy sharing this course with out of state visitors and they are never disappointed.

Great track!! Great level tee boxes along with quick fairways and greens that’s roll true and are at times very quick.

There are a lot of tight lies around the greens but by design. Certainly harder that it looks!!

We have loved playing Lone Tree in the past and always thought it was one of the better tracks in the valley.

Yesterday was not the case. Brown, bald spots, bare spots, cut short and tight and hard as a rock. For a valley that has gotten so much water hard to believe it was late august conditions and worst. I would pay or play again or recommend this course anytime soon.

Excellent pace of play 3 1/2 hrs. The greens and condo were very good

No cart girl after paying $175 a round?? This course should not be more than $100 even during the golf peak season. The fairways and greens are below par compared to what you get in arizona. The bunkers are desert dirt so good luck hitting out of those. Last 3 times i played here i have yet to see a cart girl until the last 3-4 holes. No marshall for pace of play either. Again not bad for $50-$70.
