About
Located close to the San Tan Mountains, the course at the Lone Tree Golf Club offers not only a good game but also beautiful mountain views. This championship golf course was done in a traditional desert-style with rolling fairways and fast greens that are large and undulating. There are also several sand bunkers that protect both the fairways and the greens. Water hazards come into play on five holes and extensive mounding adds further challenge. The course features four sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. Lone Tree Golf Club boasts extensive practice facilities including a targeted grass range, a large putting green, and a short game area with a sand bunker.

Nice course
Nice layout, some burnt out areas …greens were fast. We would play again
Great conditions Great layout
Great track!! Great level tee boxes along with quick fairways and greens that’s roll true and are at times very quick.
There are a lot of tight lies around the greens but by design. Certainly harder that it looks!!
Horrible
We have loved playing Lone Tree in the past and always thought it was one of the better tracks in the valley.
Yesterday was not the case. Brown, bald spots, bare spots, cut short and tight and hard as a rock. For a valley that has gotten so much water hard to believe it was late august conditions and worst. I would pay or play again or recommend this course anytime soon.
Great layout
Excellent pace of play 3 1/2 hrs. The greens and condo were very good
$$$$ way too much to play
No cart girl after paying $175 a round?? This course should not be more than $100 even during the golf peak season. The fairways and greens are below par compared to what you get in arizona. The bunkers are desert dirt so good luck hitting out of those. Last 3 times i played here i have yet to see a cart girl until the last 3-4 holes. No marshall for pace of play either. Again not bad for $50-$70.

The layout greens and conditions were excellent! It was a thrill to play in 3 1/2 hrs!
Needs water
With the valley receiving so much needed rain you would expect courses to be green. Unfortunately here tees, fairways and greens are dried out and hard.
great greens
played @ 7:20 on a Friday as a 2 some behind a 4 some they let us play through on the back 9 so we played in 3:30. Greens are excellent, fairways good. the course is very playable but does have features to give some attention. the course is very firm with tight lies pretty much all over but especially of the fairways expect a lot of roll out they did experiment with 2 holes that they did not overseed and these 2 fairways were extremely fast. value is about on par as the price of golf is up all over. We paid $115.
Layout and greens were great…2 fairways on ten and fifteen suck…they were spray painted green to save water or something and are dry and hard …like hitting off concrete…course needs a little tlc ….traps are pretty bad and not manicured…a little over priced for the condition of the course…
