About
Located close to the San Tan Mountains, the course at the Lone Tree Golf Club offers not only a good game but also beautiful mountain views. This championship golf course was done in a traditional desert-style with rolling fairways and fast greens that are large and undulating. There are also several sand bunkers that protect both the fairways and the greens. Water hazards come into play on five holes and extensive mounding adds further challenge. The course features four sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. Lone Tree Golf Club boasts extensive practice facilities including a targeted grass range, a large putting green, and a short game area with a sand bunker.

Sandy Greens
Played 5/19. Looks like they just sanded the greens but they still were plenty fast and they ran very true. I was pleasantly surprised at how good they were.
Worth the money
I enjoyed my time at Lone Tree as for the price it was well worth it. Conditions of most fairways are decent right now and the greens were in decent shape also. The only issue for me was pace of play as i widh the guys in front of me would've let me play thru or if the course had a Marshall to allow me to pass then it would've been top notch but I will play again as it's well worth it
Transitioning to summer greens were great
Overall course is transitioning to summer conditions so grass is getting sparse but greens were great. Fast and true

Oh yeah!
Some bare spots but all in all, since we haven’t had any rain, the superintendent is doing a great job. Could use some small warm bags of balls. Greens are glass. Nice! Had a lot of fun and definitely coming back. Rawbender

Ok to play with lower prices
Easy to find, easy check in, can’t take carts to car, softest carts seats around, sand and ice chests on carts, water bucket for towels, water on course for us, tees pretty good, fairways good roughs dry but not too bad to hit from, bunkers with moderate amount of sand, greens putt pretty nice, under 4 hrs, prices still up there, still think could make more improvements with the money they get, quite a few leaking sprinklers, a number of tees with sodded in areas which is good, could stil improve bunker sand,, still looks like a course that could use better care
