About
Located close to the San Tan Mountains, the course at the Lone Tree Golf Club offers not only a good game but also beautiful mountain views. This championship golf course was done in a traditional desert-style with rolling fairways and fast greens that are large and undulating. There are also several sand bunkers that protect both the fairways and the greens. Water hazards come into play on five holes and extensive mounding adds further challenge. The course features four sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. Lone Tree Golf Club boasts extensive practice facilities including a targeted grass range, a large putting green, and a short game area with a sand bunker.

Lone Tree review
My family came out here for Spring Break. When we checked in the staff was aware I was playing with juniors and offered the discount. There was music playing on the outdoor speakers which reminded me of the Cradle at Pinehurst. It was a pretty good vibe to start. The range was a bit beat up but that’s probably due to golfers randomly hitting their warm up shots. There were a few areas in the edge of fairways that were worn out but the greens were superb and running at about a 12. Great layout and offered many challenging shots. Entire staff was super friendly.
Not Worth $112.00
While Lone Tree is a decent course, the fariway lies are thin, the greens were punched and layered with sand......carts have no windshield and range balls are $10...this is not We Ko Pa and definitely not worth $112...at best a $60-$70 value during prime season
Average course
Decent course, lots of dormant grass on sides and around greens. Places where there was a lot of dirt also. Weather was cool and windy. The greens weren’t too bad but had been verticut and inconsistent. We could only get a 2:15 tee time so finished right before dark. The staff was nice outside and inside.
Hot day in march
Great company from St.Louis very nice course, lay out is mostly in front of you with very generous fairways. Enjoyable day.
The staff are very helpful and friendly. Course is well maintained and greens very fast. Highly recommend this course.
Not bad for the season
The course was in good shape. Greens were well maintained. They did close the driving range at noon so no warming up. The restaurant service was very slow. Overall I would golf here again but not for the price I paid.
