About
Located close to the San Tan Mountains, the course at the Lone Tree Golf Club offers not only a good game but also beautiful mountain views. This championship golf course was done in a traditional desert-style with rolling fairways and fast greens that are large and undulating. There are also several sand bunkers that protect both the fairways and the greens. Water hazards come into play on five holes and extensive mounding adds further challenge. The course features four sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. Lone Tree Golf Club boasts extensive practice facilities including a targeted grass range, a large putting green, and a short game area with a sand bunker.

Excellent course
Good mix of long and short hole. Course is fair. Greens are challenging but in excellent shape
Great course
Played Lone Tree with another couple and all of us were impressed with the beautiful condition of the tee boxes, fairways, and greens. Pace of play was fine, and we will definitely be back.

Absolutely beautiful course, great fairways, greens and tee boxes…. Even the roughs were nice, I must admit… a bit pricey…. Wish time was allowed to have lunch leisurely. Felt a bit “rushed”
Very good golf course.Slow play.
Love the course, but over 5 hours to play the round. Over booked and they let the members play in 5 some's. At a $100 a round, bad business.
better than I remember it
I used coordinate corporate golf tournaments here back in the day. Don’t remember the course being is such good condition. The greens were a little too firm, albeit I played in the afternoon. pace of play was terrible. 4 1/2 hours and only finished 15 holes. would be nice to see the staff push folks along to keep up a good
pace.
Nice Course
Nice course in good condition. Only issue was we waited on almost every hole because of a slow group in front of us and there was no ranger on the course to try to speed them up.

Best Value so far
First time here. Won't be last. Great value in that course is in great shape some challenging holes mixed in with easier ones. Just in great shape.

Course fine except sand traps need significant work.
Need a course marshal as two consecutive twosomes in front of us slowed down the entire course. The twosomes should have been joined up at the first tee or at least at the turn.
Boring layout
This course was all straight holes, no doglegs so it was rather boring in it's layout. I don't mind fast greens as this is the best part of my game, but these were stupid fast. Unless you are a player that can generate pro-like backspin to get your ball to stop.....well it will roll off the green. The pace of play was very slow with 3 groups backed up on the par 3's. I don't think I'll play it again.
