Trump National Golf Club

Wow !!!! This what a special place. Course conditions were great. Course is in great shape. The cart path only is a pain but oh well. I highly recommend this course. Trump 2024 baby !!!!

Overall I had an awesome day out at this course. The price was a little bit steep and probably should be closer to 150/200 but overall I chalk it up to half is for the view on the ocean for the day and half is for the golf amenities. The course was not in pristine condition but was in pretty good condition overall they were currently undergoing some amounts of maintenance so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. I would play here again but probably on the later in the day teetimes considering it goes down to half price afternoon.

Course has recovered nicely after the punch. Greens were still smooth just a hair slower. Such Ana amazing piece of property.

The place was manicured beautiful.

My step counter went up quite a bit. It’s all good.

Course was just reseeded last month so the fairways were a little spotty but it was expected. The staff was second to none! Was able to get a really good deal thru Golf Now and with our monthly golf credits! My friend could not thank me enough for this day of golf! We will definitely be back!

Played a couple times 10 years ago. It was foggy so no ocean views. I’d play again but at $180, there are much nicer courses. With overseediing, aerification and carts restricted to cart path it’s no a viable choice unless price is sub $100.

Disappointed to find out they ran behind their maintenance schedule and RE-opened the course in the worst condition.

It was a major construction site with so much traffic where the trucks and the staff are not paying attention to the players.

They also have the audacity to charge us a steep rate to play on a construction site with “extremely” sanded and both aerified fairways and greens.

They simply have No shame! …

BTW … there was no aerification warning in the booking which other golf courses would have posted but these guys won’t. (I have attached a screen shot of my booking)

The staff was very attentive

The course was very well kept

The coastal scenery was breath taking

The coarse is challenging

Had lunch there and it was excellent

Will definitely make it on of my go to courses

First time at TRUMP NATIONAL LA in Palos Verdes. The property is beautiful, and is situated right off the Pacific Coast on a hillside with a public hiking trail that intertwines through several golf holes on the back 9. We were extremely fortunate to play on a beautiful clear, cool sunny day with very little wind!

Most of the holes are pretty much parallel with the ocean, giving you clear, wide views of the water, and that in and of itself is pretty remarkable. The course was extremely well maintained, and conditions were stellar.

The property is extremely beautiful, but the golf is pretty standard in terms of course layout. For a oceanside course that charges you a premium, has the Trump brand name, and was designed by Pete Dye, you would expect to really look forward to the design and layout of the holes, but it honestly felt like hole after hole, you were playing a similar hole as before with the same ocean views. Yes, the holes are nice and the layout if fair, but there's an important element that really lacks and makes this course stand out.

One other thing to mention is the greens. My goodness, good luck with them - they were absolutely brutal. Fun, yes, but because the greens are so contoured and have so many things going on on literally all 18 greens that your approach shots needed to have the correct distance, location, and have spot on spin control or else it could literally roll off the green or go 20 feet past the hole.

Overall, I enjoyed playing Trump National, but I don't think it's worth to play here if you are paying more than $150. It's a good course, and that's pretty much it.

Perfect conditions, amazing views, and stellar experience. Played with life long friends and we made memories that will last another lifetime

Great course, weather was perfect. Had a slow foursome in front of us after the turn. Greens were immaculate and super fast. Started later so it got dark on the 16th. Will play again soon.
