Trump National Golf Club

The course has amazing views but if you want to look at the ocean go to the beach and save $300. The layout is boring 18 holes which just run parell to the coast. The giant waterfall??? What is that.....The worest part is a framed picture of trump on the cover of time magazine in the lobby of the clubhouse. Trump has never been on the cover...

I can’t believe that this course is still on Golfnow. I wouldn’t spend a penny at any course that Drumpf owns.

I've played here a few times during the pandemic and was previously very happy with the covid policies. On their website under covid precautions, they list a max of one rider per cart. But when I checked in yesterday, they tried to make me share a cart with another player. They tried to reassure me that they have put a plastic partion to protect me. Then when I insisted on having my own cart they said I'd need to pay an extra $60 to ride my own cart. I was told there were no carts available and would need to walk to and from the range as well. Thankfully when I returned from the range, I was able to convince the cart team to give me my own cart. I had an original tee time of 12:20 but was told I'd be teeing off at 12:30. By the time I was finally given a cart it was 12:45.

Once we got on the course, everything was great. The course was surprisingly dry after the heavy rain on Monday. They did have cart path only which was understandable but still a bummer. The traps were nearly concrete as it appeared they didn't rake the traps since the rain. The greens were the fastest I've seen there rolling at 12-13 on the stimp with very agressive slopes. If you got on the wrong side of the pin, putting off the green was in play and definitely a lot of 3 putts. The views were spectacular and we caught sunset on 17 and played 18 in the dark. Unfortunately the fast greens really slowed down play coupled with the later start due to their cart issues.

Courses is tough on errors. Fun course to play and views of water on every hole. Highly recommend!

Great golf course . Great views . Great greens . Just have to say the range can only hit 30 range balls no more with face mask on . No putting green . The course is great just don’t expect the best amenities before tie time .

Ignore the name of this course - it’s a absolute gem

First time playing course, played blue tees. If you can’t hit consistent drives, play 3w or hybrid from the tee. Greens are tricky. Even if you GIR, 3 putts are possible. Tough course with coastal damp air, wind. Covid BS has practice greens shutdown. Booo gov gruesome and LA county elected officials.

You should try it at least once in your lifetime. Excellent and beautiful course to play. The view is incredible.

Hardest course ever played but man was it awesome. Absolutely beautiful. Every hole has an ocean view. Just incredible. Highly recommended.

We golfed right after over seeding so sand all over the greens but the course was great. The views are amazing and we had the course to ourselves so it was great.

If you want the best views from a magnificently maintained golf course, you must play here! The rate is a bit much for $300 but if you can get in for $150 or less it’s well worth it! I would pay max $200. You also want to factor in tipping around the course. The staff made me feel welcomed despite my ethnicity. Jim was very helpful and enjoyed his job by telling jokes driving us to the driving range. Just over all accommodating!

Our president made sure this course is up to date and exquisite. 9/10, not cheap but it’s a doable course with challenging holes every hole.
